First, my apologies for sending this post to Nowhere, dear Dutchess.
I was so excited about the buds on my tree I did not even notice I clicked the wrong button.
I have taken it off... What a ditz I am today..
. After all, Tea Rat would probably try to climb the tree, then Rattus would have to climb up after.. Besides, Bebe told me she wants to travel soon to Nowhere..
So here it is! I walked out today, and they finally started to open!
This is how the tree looked last month when I brought it home and set it in the carport while digging the hole.
With the help of sis, we dug a hole.
Standing tall and proud, even though it is such a tiny tree.
My neighbors probably thought I was nuts... I kept checking the tree to see if the buds were open yet yesterday.
Out the door, in the door, out the door, in the door...
My roses are starting to bloom.. Won't be long, they are full of buds.
Happy spring everyone!
Happy Spring, Penny!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Bev. Happy Spring to you

I sure hope so Ilona.. The buds are opening up more each day. Happy Spring
DeleteOh how I've been out of it; IS NOWHERE OPEN? And yes, Tea Rat would most certainly climb it to get to the buds because he thinks that these pink buds might make a nice tisaine.....teeeeeheee....
ReplyDeleteOH Penny, you and vigilant to keep watch on your buds! I am so tickled to see your yard, to see that this little sprout of a tree is alive and pushing forth and expressing herself in PINK! Keep us posted on your roses, please! We are watching Downton Abbey again from season to season, and I swoon whenever they show the house where Mrs. Crawly lives....there is that wonderful pink rose vine. I WANT ONE!
Happy spring to you my beloved friend! Anita
Yes, Nowhere is open, and we are having such fun. Bebe just loves to spend time with Tea Rat

oooo, I can't wait to see your flowering cherry tree when it blossoms, Penny. What lovely pictures these are, and I bet you were sore at the end of the day digging that hole with your sister. Your yard looks so nice in front. Thank you for your comment on my "favorite things" post. I would love to see your favorite things also. Maybe you can do a post on it sometime.
