For the love of Pandas

Did I ever mention that Panda bears were the favorite bear of my dear Mother?
I was researching Panda bears and it reminded me of her... Sweet peas and panda's.. Mom loved sweet peas... I have such beautiful memories of my parents..  This is one thing that cannot be taken away... They are there always... One of my favorite memories of her is seeing her in the kitchen, cooking breakfast in her pretty summer dress with her lace poke- a-dot apron and heels... Mom always wore a dress and heels.. She was such a petite little woman.. Five foot 2 " and a heart of gold. I have one of her tiny aprons.. White with red dots...  Anyway,  here is my Panda...  She is already spoken for, but wanted to share with  you..  I hope you enjoy her, and the music.
Thank you all so much for your most welcome visits and kind thoughts... I always look forward to  your visits and visiting  you all.

Lovingly needle felted over a wire armature in a blend of beautiful wool fibers.  Glass bead eyes,
Her claws  are wire wrapped in wool.. She has a firm needle felted core, second coat was felted in and then scissor cut.

Enjoy the upcoming weekend... Thank you so much for visiting.
                                                                Blessings,

Roses in May

Hello dear friends... I hope you all are enjoying a beautiful day..  Thought I would share a few photos today of my  roses... They are just bursting with new buds, next few weeks they should be full.

Climbing roses on porch..

Mother of Pearl Tea Rose

My Bonica roses  all in a row. They run about half the length of the house.

This photo below is in the backyard.. The common name for this purple flowered bush is potato bush. I cannot remember the botanical name..  Anyone know?

Roses I cut from the front last week... They are about spent, but I will leave them dry just as they are

I hung this little group of rose below upside down last month to dry...
They turned out really pretty, yes?

Thank you so much for wandering over... Hope you enjoyed your stay.
blessings,
Penny
