Please meet Matilda the elephant and her little companion Phoebe

I have been working on Matilda for a few weeks..   It was not my intention for her to grow up so big, but things happen... She is 11 1/2" tall in her seated position.. So good to finish her up..  Phoebe, (wee mouse) has been waiting and waiting for her..  Now they can travel together.

They were both needle felted with beautiful Suffolk/Hampshire cross sheep wool..  I used natural cream for the core, and gray for her top coat.. Her face is scissor cut.  I fashioned her dress with cheesecloth that I tea dyed.. The dried rose is from my garden.  She is available on Ebay
Thank you so much for your visit. Wishing you all a beautiful weekend.

American Indian in Oil

Beautiful Native American Flute music
Enjoy

I dug out some of my very old paintings today... (Now I have made a mess and need to put them all back) Painting's everywhere...I am sure many of you Artists have several portfolios full of forgotten paintings and drawings..

Looking at my past work brings back memories.. It's kind of fun to look back at all your attempts... I came across this painting that is signed with my maiden name.. This painting is about 40 years old.. This was rendered in Oil on a 16 x 20 stretched canvas..  I hope you have enjoyed viewing and listening to the beautiful flutes.

Wishing you all a peaceful and joyful week ahead, and thank you so much for always being so kind as to wander over for a visit.
Blessings,
Penny
