How are we coming along with the construction on the brick house?

Well, I don't know....  

What did you do?  Look at this. Someone broke this large piece off.

Oh golly,  did I do that?  I guess we will need to order MORE bricks now.

That's ok.  for every problem there is a solution.  We will fix it together.

WIP Wool and bricks Three little pigs

The bricks arrived so I began on the house.. Then my wool came so I finished this little pig. Oh dear.
This is an example on what NOT to do.    My intention was  to show the Three little pigs "building the house",  but as you can see, the base of this house is  too small.  It would not hold  this little pig, much less three!.. So I will need to make a much larger base in order for it to be in  proportion.. I need to extend the length of the house.  Then on to the remaining little pigs.. I still need to make trowels and a few other tools and things.
 My wool finally arrived yesterday, so I will start on the second little pig.

WIP The Three Little Pigs

Happy New Year everyone.  I hope your Christmas and New Year was full of joy. Mine was quiet this year but full of joy.


This project will most likely take me a while, so I thought I would share the progress.
I have started my on the first little pig..  His head is finished, but have much to do on his body.

There is nothing more maddening than to realize when you are in the middle of needle felting that you have run out of a particular wool.  So I will have patience and wait.  I ordered it today, so should arrive next week.  I need to finish his body.  The armatures are all ready for the last two pigs.    I also ordered some miniature handmade bricks.  They will be building a house.  Not the entire house mind you,  just a portion.  I can see it in my minds eye

This year I would like to re-create old fables and fairytales.
 I also hope to finish a very special project I have been working on for a very long time.
