Hello again... Please meet Clara

Still running in five different directions. So much going on here at home...  I have missed you all.

Please meet Clara...  Her body is crocheted and filled with fiber fill.  Legs have a wood insert.  Legs, and details on her face are  needle felted.
She has glass inset eyes and stands 8 inches tall and is 9 inches in length.
I hope you enjoyed meeting her.

Oh my goodness. I told you I was thinking of you this morning and even informally said a prayer that your marvelous work would resurface for SUMMER FUN. And here you are, with a little companion that has stolen my heart! OK Clara, where did you hide my heart? I know you stole it! teeeeheee

Penny, your materials are perfect for a lamby of this nature. Excellent work, and I bet she is soft as can be! "Clarabel" for a nickname! BRAAAAAAVO!

    1. I think every little lamb should have a bell, don't you? Thank you so much Martha Ellen.

  3. Penny, Your use of mixing the fiber medias is a perfect blend. I don't think one could easily achieve the curliness of the sheeps wool as nicely as you have done using crochet! Really nice!

    2. Thanks for visiting Penny. Your Clara just makes me smile, amazing talent my friend. The nursery is nearly an hour away but so worth the drive. The urn is solid concrete and was quite the challenge bringing it up the steps and down the walkway even with a hand truck, lol. It reminded me of Tuscany and instantly I knew it would be the one to grace our home.
      Have a fun weekend!
      xoxo,
      Vera
