Please meet Mittens and Meg

Hello dear friends...  I pulled Mittens out of  the hat box and finished her up.. She had asked for a friend, how could I refuse, so I needle felted her a wee mouse that measures 1 1/2".  Mittens stands 4 1/2 " tall.  Needle felted in beautiful wool fibers..  I painted her glass bead eyes, with the help of my magnifier..  She is available on Ebay..  I hope you enjoyed meeting her and her wee friend.

Wishing you all a beautiful weekend.

What a life

Really!  This is how Jasper spends his time...  Well, when he is not reminding me of lunch time by kicking the trash can... What can I say, he just makes laugh...  Once in while I will find him with his legs straight up in the air. Now that is funny!

What have I been doing?  Drawing, painting, reading, writing and a not so much needle felting..  I started a felted cat named Mittens... Lost interest and put her away for the moment... When it is time I will bring her out and finish..

It is heating up again, over 100 today.. I am so happy I went out yesterday to tend the roses... Won't venture out today...  Wishing you all a beautiful Sunday.

Jasper ( the King)  and I  thank you for visiting!

Granny's Attic in Temecula

Hello dear friends,
Have been a little under the weather, but am feeling better each day.
Thank you all so much for taking time to visit. The weather here has been just horrid.  Yesterday it hit 112 in the shade... As if water restrictions were not enough, this intense heat has really done a number on my roses... Don't get me wrong, we need water restrictions with the drought,  I just hope they make it through the summer.  They give me such joy.

Thought I would share  a couple of photos I took on my visit to Granny's Attic a last month. It is located behind  front street, in Temecula.. It is much larger inside, than it appears to be from the outside..  Very isle has a street name.  I am thinking this is if you get lost... haaa..  There were so many beautiful antiques, but these two items show below,  I would have loved to have..

I am not sure, but I am thinking  this stove may be a reproduction.. what do you think?

I love this old singer, and the cabinet!  They had about four different models throughout the shop.
This was my favorite.  I should have taken a close up of the machine itself.

Ok.  Not an antique, but had to take a photo.  This is what Miss B always says to me...  She was with me this day, along with her dear friend... She yelled,  NANA, look at this!

Have a peaceful Sunday....  Wishing you all a wonderful week ahead

Penny
