Angel pencil sketch

I have been without my computer this past week and I have alot of catching up to do..
Thank you all so very much for all your kind comments about my previous painting..
I have sketched this Angel and may put her on canvas soon.
Can you believe it? I had lunch with dear Anita and Ruben this past week. I am still pinching myself... Was it real or a dream.. What an exciting day we had! Memories to treasure always.
Blessings,
Penny

Angel ~ Emotions~

When I started this painting I was a bit angry and flustrated, over insignificent silly things. As I continued to paint I felt a calm.. It did not take long for a wave of peace to wrap around me. I hope this feeling is apparent ... This was an interesting study for me. I hope you enjoyed viewing and thank you for taking time to stop and visit. Your thoughts are always appreciated.
Please note....
Uh oh! My computer is non functional as of today June 19th... I am using my sisters to leave this note.. So, untill I have it repaired or replaced, I will not be posting or commenting very often.. I will check in when I am able.. Hope to return soon. Enjoy the warm summer days... Blessings, Penny

Garden of Angels Acrylic fantasy painting

My rose garden and birdbath inspired this painting.. I must apologize for the photos, it was very hard to get a clear photo. The angels are so tiny, only one inch tall. Every time I zoomed in with the camera so they could be seen it just blurred.. This painting was accomplished with acrylics on a basswood plaque... The plaque measures 11"x14"... I hope you enjoyed viewing. It is available on ebay if you would like to visit my auction... I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of you for taking time to visit me and for your most appreciated comments.. Blessings, Penny

Please meet Colette the Mouse

As I was wandering about in an antique store, I came upon this pretty little pink metal purse.. It is not an antique, but beautiful just the same. As soon as it caught my eye, this is what I saw.. Little Colette.. She is about 2 1/4" tall.. Sculpted from a Cernit. Her fur is hand applied. I have fashioned her clothing from off white lace... Her little skirt is sewn on and is not removable.. Her hat, however, is... I hope she brings a smile... She is available on ebay if you would like to visit her there. Thank you for visiting.

Blessings, Penny
