My rose garden and birdbath inspired this painting.. I must apologize for the photos, it was very hard to get a clear photo. The angels are so tiny, only one inch tall. Every time I zoomed in with the camera so they could be seen it just blurred.. This painting was accomplished with acrylics on a basswood plaque... The plaque measures 11"x14"... I hope you enjoyed viewing. It is available on ebay if you would like to visit my auction... I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of you for taking time to visit me and for your most appreciated comments.. Blessings, Penny

Penny, this is so beautiful...I am so touched by the bucolic setting and the sweet little angels...you are a master of the miniature, capturing a personality of innocence and your lovely garden, well, I know how hard you work at making that garden what it is...a place of rest for all beautiful creatures to come and enjoy the flowers, the peace and tranquility! Peace to you dearest....I know that you had to have had a fun time painting this!

Oh Anita, you are so encouraging.. WHAT PRAISE! I never expected this response with my painting, but thank you so very much.. I do not consider myself a master by any means, but thank you!!! I really enjoyed this one.. Those little angels were a challenge because of their size. Other than that, it was a pleasure to paint.
ReplyDeleteBISOUS! Penny
Well dearest, your work is exceptional! And your trees! The extent of my trees reaches as far as those I drew on Wit's End...simple lines and puffy shapes for the foliage!!!! BRAVO! Anita

Dear Penny, I love this painting! I think it may be my favorite! Well, each new painting becomes my favorite as they are all so beautiful. The angel babies evoke a calm, a serenity, much like all of your work! Beautiful Penny, just beautiful. xoxo Christel
