Angel ~ Emotions~

When I started this painting I was a bit angry and flustrated, over insignificent silly things. As I continued to paint I felt a calm.. It did not take long for a wave of peace to wrap around me. I hope this feeling is apparent ... This was an interesting study for me. I hope you enjoyed viewing and thank you for taking time to stop and visit. Your thoughts are always appreciated.
Please note....
Uh oh! My computer is non functional as of today June 19th... I am using my sisters to leave this note.. So, untill I have it repaired or replaced, I will not be posting or commenting very often.. I will check in when I am able.. Hope to return soon. Enjoy the warm summer days... Blessings, Penny

  1. It is interesting you did this post today.......because today I totally lost it with my family. I have had so much pent up anger and today I let her rip. I'm not proud of this mind you....but it happened.

I can't seem to get myself calm enough lately to do anything artistic....even though I know it is so calming. Perhaps your example can help me. Thanks.

  2. Dear Penny, after reading your comment, I can see all of that within the lines. She does portray a calm, but also a hurt behind her eyes. So glad you are able to work out your feelings in such a possitive way, with such beautiful results. xoxo Christel

Yes, she is different from my others.. Especially the wings.. Unfortunately they do not show up in the photo very well.
In your other message you mentioned the Angel wth the door.. I am trying to figure out which one that was..

  9. Hi Penny, Beautiful painting, I love her eyes!and in her eyes it does look like she is lost in thought- looking for something- maybe it was peace and you captured her thought and the beauty of that moment. Its amazing what takes place when an artist works, our paintings reflect what we are doing and feeling and nothing else will matter in life, even if were slightly upset, cause when we are painting we get lost in our own thoughts of creating something beautiful and beauty always brings peace.Great work, Have a wonderful day!!! Sincerely, Jonny

  12. In order for there to be true light we sometimes experience the darkness. However, Light always makes it's way through the darkness and it shines it's way through our lives. Think of a light house, it's beaming light pierces through the darkness and the fog in life.

May you be inspired today, may you be light hearted, may you have the wind to your back and your heart set to a new daylight.

I suggest a soft cuddle with dearest little Bebe will solve any sad or angry moment in time.

    Lifting you up in prayer.

  13. I can't help but think, that if this angel would speak, she would have the softest, most comforting of voices.
