Merry Christmas to all Happy New Year

Me and my dear mother..

Those of you who know me, know that I sometimes find it difficult to express myself.. With that said, I would like to thank all my dear friends, new and old, for your continued encouragement and support this past year... Your kind words and friendship have meant so much to me.. I am honored and blessed to be in the company of so many amazing artists and sweet souls.... I wish you all a wonderful Christmas.. May your hearts be filled with love. I hope we all remember to enjoy the simple things in life and cherish each and every moment.

This year has ended with another wedding in my family... My dear son was married last week to the love of his life.. It was a beautiful wedding and I am so very happy for them. Life is good...

Love and blessings to all...

I will see you next year..

The Princess and the Mouse

It was very hard for me to stop when creating this set.. It was a pure joy... I especially enjoyed making her bed with the canopy.. I hope you enjoy it.

The wee princess is safe and snug in her bed and this little mouse has brought her a bluebird as a gift.. Mouse measures 1 1/2" seated.. Bluebird is 1/2" ...
The bed is hand sewn, and hand painted with tiny pink roses... It is not attached to the base for safe travel.. The flower stem is wire inside and is gently movable if one chooses to do so. They are now available on Ebay if you would care to visit the auction.

I hope everyone had a safe and blessed Thanksgiving.. I cooked this year and was blessed to have my children and sister at the table.

Wishing you all a beautiful weekend, and thank you so much for taking time to drop in.

Blessings,

Penny

The Time Keeper Mouse and Bebe The Christmas Rose

It all started when this lamppost caught my eye.. A wee bit of a mouse, she is 1 1/2" tall seated.. I handpainted this plaque, made her a little tapestry bag to keep her clock key.. She has been lovingly sculpted of Fimo, hand applied white merino wool for her fur..

If you would like to visit her auction on ebay, you will find her here

How could I forget my dear little Bebe... It took her what seemed like forever to pick out a color for her dress.. Then we had to make up our minds about the hat and the purse... and must not forget the christmas rose... I really enjoyed creating Bebe in her Christmas dress.. The purse was a bit of a challenge due to it's size. Like her hat? You must admit, it is different.. Bebe is on a 3 day Ebay auction if you would like to visit her..

Wishing you all a beautiful week..

Blessings,

Penny

Bebe and mum taking a break

Did I tell you I got my poot poot fixed??? Now I'm ready! Just need to get mum in gear...

First I need to go shopping and pick up a few little things....

So maybe I can return to the French Riviera.. ahhhhhhhhhhhh

Or, I could ask mum to check the store room for my surf board...

While she is in there, she can look for my snorkels

Return to Paris? ahhh, the pastries

And the city lights...

Bonjour! France? Oh I love Paris...

I would take mum to Belgium to the Jazz festival but I sold my sax.

Maybe Italy? Take a refresher course ? No?

I KNOW ! I will go visit Dimity Doormouse at Hopalong Hollow while mum gets her act together... She is elbow deep in her studio .... teehee... We will see you soon...

Love Bebe

Imagination

I love to paint on just about anything... Walls, canvas, wood glass, doors.. If it is around me, there is always a chance it will end up painted... I suppose this is not always a good thing, but it is enjoyable... About 15 years ago I had a white vase... This was the end result... I put it on a turn table and just started painting my way around the vase.... My first thought was roses... As you can see, I got a little side tracked... (no roses) Veggies, fruits and a cherub? Some may ask, what was she thinking? Well.... I was not thinking, I was painting... I spent way too much time on this vase......and enjoyed every moment... I hope you enjoyed your stay.

Thank you so much for visiting..

Blessings to all,

Will you join me for Tea?

Once upon a time

There was a wee fae

She sipped tea in the morning

And dreamed all day.

Please stop in for a spot of tea

She would love to have your company.

It has been almost a year since I have sculpted a little fae.. I really enjoyed this journey with her... She is 2 3/4" tall, lovingly sculpted with prosculpt.. I used heat set paints for her details and have fashioned her clothes.. Every little fae needs a wee bit of pastry to go with her tea, so I sculpted her a few slices..

Wishing all of you a beautiful weekend..

Blessings to all,

Penny
