The Princess and the Mouse






















It was very hard for me to stop when creating this set.. It was a pure joy... I especially enjoyed making her bed with the canopy.. I hope you enjoy it.



The wee princess is safe and snug in her bed and this little mouse has brought her a bluebird as a gift.. Mouse measures 1 1/2" seated.. Bluebird is 1/2" ...
The bed is hand sewn, and hand painted with tiny pink roses... It is not attached to the base for safe travel.. The flower stem is wire inside and is gently movable if one chooses to do so. They are now available on Ebay if you would care to visit the auction.






I hope everyone had a safe and blessed Thanksgiving.. I cooked this year and was blessed to have my children and sister at the table.

    OK. This is a surprise and a huge joy to see...you know, your work has this affect on me...the waterworks start. Maybe it is the pure enchantment, my attachment to Bebe...I don't know. But the LOVE you put into your creations speaks louder than words and to know YOU and Bebe makes the experience even better.

    LOOK AT THIS MARVEL!!!!!!!!!! What a great, great story dearest, GREAT! And a little bluebird offered as a gift. Now that is sheer love.

    AND BEBE IS SMITTEN WITH THAT CHUBBY WHITE MOUSE? I think most everyone is! Bummer is however, after some inquiry for Ruben, he is NOT FOR SALE ANYMORE! YIKES!

    If I were there, we'd sip tea with Bebe and make fairy furniture out of twigs and satin. Good enough for any princess in the whole wide big world. I'd bring twigs and moss from Washington and a bucket of tiny raindrops to sit upon the bed canopy.

    Sweet and wonderful friend,

    I was out all day yesterday with the marvelous IRINA; what a magical time, OMG. Then it snowed last night and we walked over across the street for a little party. What magic, Penny, what MAGIC! Greg, our neighbor, has his home so BEAUTIFULLY LIT UP with candy canes along his sweet cottage path. Oh, Ruben and I felt like we were Tea Rat and Rattus walking in SNOWY NOWHERE.....
