Winter mouse on Ice

Ready, set, and away we go!
If you look close, you can see the blades on my pretty skates

Oh my, it is windy out here..

I am gathering gifts for the wee mice... Won't you join me?

Go ahead.  Every little bit counts..

Please? I will let you wear my  hat..

Hello dear friends... I had a ball creating this little one... The skates were a bit of a challenge, but I did it!  She is needle felted with fine wool fibers, as are her skates... I have inserted a metal piece for her blades and added pink faux pearls for buttons.   Her hat and bag are also handmade.. She can be displayed with or without all her accessories... I wired her little scarf..  I wanted it to look as if it were blowing in the wind..
Thank you all so much for your friendship and kindness.. I hope this year has been good to you all.
Love and blessings,
Penny
She will be available on ebay this evening.

WIP Angel relief ~Love one Another~

As you can see,  I have a lot of work and rework to do on this piece... I am still not pleased with her face and will do some rework, but thought I would share my progress with you..  Sometimes when I step away for a few days (which is what I am doing)  and go back,  things will fall in place.

Wings to do, a lot of sanding and rework on gown yet.

I think the toes are ok, but I think her feet need a bit of rework.

I hope you all are enjoying the holiday season...
Love and blessings,
Penny

Please meet Matilda the elephant and her little companion Phoebe

I have been working on Matilda for a few weeks..   It was not my intention for her to grow up so big, but things happen... She is 11 1/2" tall in her seated position.. So good to finish her up..  Phoebe, (wee mouse) has been waiting and waiting for her..  Now they can travel together.

They were both needle felted with beautiful Suffolk/Hampshire cross sheep wool..  I used natural cream for the core, and gray for her top coat.. Her face is scissor cut.  I fashioned her dress with cheesecloth that I tea dyed.. The dried rose is from my garden.  She is available on Ebay
Thank you so much for your visit. Wishing you all a beautiful weekend.
