Please meet Peanut the Squirrel

Please welcome Peanut...   He could be related to Chester, but he is very quite.. I offered him a nut, he said no thank you... I offered berries,  no thank you again..  Then,  Bebe offered him a walnut and he said, thank you so much!

Peanut is needle felted with a mix of wools, but about 75 percent of him is courtesy of dear Sophia over at Hopalong Hollow...  I love this wool, so easy to work with..  Thank you again Jeri.....
Yes,  I still have some left!
He has hand painted bead eyes and measure 6 inches tall to the tip of this tail..

I hope you enjoyed your stay, and thank you all so much for your visits and kind words.
He is available on Ebay

Wishing you all a wonderful week.
blessings,
Penny

Thank you for visiting!

  2. Good morning Penny! Peanut is an adorable squirrel, but I think he isn't just shy! Maybe he doesn't want anything else........he just wants that (like his name) peanut :D!!
I wish you a wonderful week too. Blessings, Ilona

  3. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a WALNUT LOVIN' squirrel who only takes food from Bebe's little paw! teehehehheheehe

PENNY...you know how I feel about your creations....but this one AGAIN takes the cake! Or rather, the WALNUT! He looks, and I swear, he resembles our "resident" squirrel named, HO CHUNK. Yes, you heard right....HO CHUNK. Do NOT even ask how he got that name. But he makes us laugh and gets into all sorts of mischief, as I am assuming that PEANUT does from time to time!

He is going to go fast. OH NUTS! But one day, I'm commissioning YOU!

Gotta run now like a squirrel, off to work. You are brilliant my dear! BISOUS!

  6. Dear Penny, little Peanut is so sweet!!! Do you know, as I'm writing this on my balcony...a darling, and most tenacious bushy-tailed squirrel is picking the most perfect tiny branches, and fluffing its nest!! I immediately thought of YOU and Jeri!! And here you are, with your latest masterpiece made of Sophia's wool....magical... :)))
I hope Bebe doesn't get too attached to Peanut, because, (like dear Anita mentioned) I think he will go fast!!
    Bravo to you!! :))

    Love and blessings,
    - Irina

  11. teeheee...yes, HO CHUNK! We were in Wisconsin this summer you know, for a wedding. We kept seeing billboard signs for a casino named HO CHUNK and for the life of us, we could not figure out WHAT AND WHY anyone would name a casino as such! So we came home and name this chunky little squirrel HO CHUNK! I am so thrilled (but not surprised!) that there is already a bid. CARRY ON MY FRIEND!

  25. Peanut looks so real, Penny! He is the cutest squirrel ever. His little eyes even look curious like he's searching for food. Peanut is such a cute name for him too. You know, whenever I see a squirrel, it startles me a bit, but they are really sweet little animals, aren't they?

I love your creations, and they make me happy whenever I see them.

    Love,
    ~Sheri
