Please meet Fleur a wee mouse

Hi There
First,  I would like to thank you all for your kind words and taking time to sit awhile among the roses.

Yes, I know it has been awhile.  The weather was so beautiful I was spending as much time as possible with my roses..  But now the heat is on..  As I write this it is 6 pm here and 90 outside..  So....  If this continues I will be spending more time inside.  May I send anyone some sunshine?

Please meet Fleur...  Lovingly needle felted with the finest wool..  My thoughts  has been with the flowers lately, so I thought it only fitting that I attempt to needle felt her a flower to rest upon..

Here she is, fat and happy

Quite comfortable on her flower

She is available on Ebay.
Wishing you all a beautiful and peaceful weekend.
Blessings,  Penny

A Rose is a Rose

Ingenious Mr. Fairchild... One of my favorite English roses.

I love to sit on the porch with my coffee in the morning and just breath in, sit quietly and watch for birds.

Every day there are new buds... Soon they will be in full bloom

I like to use tulle to guide my climbers up the posts... It works very well... can you see it at the top left?

Hummingbird, hummingbird
so tiny and sweet
thank you for always
being there to greet.

Where is your friend so bright with color
I know you will look at no other

So sit little one and wait for him
Fluff those feathers and sing a song
I am sure he will be right along.

p.w.

Just look at this little hummingbird.  Not very often I see one just resting.

Winchester Cathedral
My favorite English rose... It has a
Raspberry and almond scent...

The pink is Mother of Pearl..  A pretty Tea Rose, not a very heavy scent. White is  Iceberg one of my climbers.  There are four climbers running along the porch.  The english roses are below down in front.

Would you like to take a peek at the flowers in the back yard?
Beautiful Iris sets along the house

This is an old coral Tea Rose.. It stand about 6 feet tall.  Beautiful when it is in full bloom.  Maybe about a month or so.

Oh the scent of a lilac!  I am so excited.. I have been waiting for 3 years for my bushes to bloom.
Last year they gave me a little preview with one lone lilac.. This year I had enough to cut some for the house.

On the other side of the yard I have a dwarf orange tree..
It is in bloom right now and it smells soooo good.

Thank you for wandering through the roses with me... I hope you enjoyed my humble garden.  Wishing you all a beautiful day
blessings,
Penny
