Please meet Fleur a wee mouse

Hi There
First,  I would like to thank you all for your kind words and taking time to sit awhile among the roses.

Yes, I know it has been awhile.  The weather was so beautiful I was spending as much time as possible with my roses..  But now the heat is on..  As I write this it is 6 pm here and 90 outside..  So....  If this continues I will be spending more time inside.  May I send anyone some sunshine?

Please meet Fleur...  Lovingly needle felted with the finest wool..  My thoughts  has been with the flowers lately, so I thought it only fitting that I attempt to needle felt her a flower to rest upon.. 


Here she is, fat and happy

    We been having such nice weather on my part of the world also, but not in the 90 whew that's hot...lol....
    Oh my goshhhhh I love your wee little mouse, what a cutie and has a rosé bed how lucky ;)

    Hi Penny...wow 90 degrees..I am not looking forward to those temperatures here in Utah. We are expected to get into the 70's all next week. Our time is coming...lol
    Fleur is so adorable!! On the first picture she looks as if she is saying "Tickle my Tummy...lol
    She is so sweet and I absolutely love her eyes. Such Talent!!

    The heat sounds a bit too much. 90F - phew! I hope you have a way to cool the air indoors. How do the roses cope in that heat?

    Dear Penny, your wee little mouse is so beautiful and cute. I like the idea she got a rose as her bed, it looks so adorable.
    We in The Netherlands have finally spring now. For the last two weeks we had a temperature of 15 oC, but now it is getting a bit colder again, so I would love a bit of sunshine from you ;) but not the heat, please :D!

    OK....you have DONE IT AGAIN, only this time in WOOL! Yikes, you are good, and her little flower..OH MY, Penny, she is sitting on a William Baffin rose! teehehe that is the color of the climbing roses I want!

    SHE IS JUST BEAUTIFUL, and her little shape is outstanding, with those little ears...OK, Tea Rat is starting to get very anxious about having all these beautiful mice around him - "So many mice, so little time" says he.....teehee

    I love all your work Penny, but I think Fleur may be my favorite of all I've seen here. Beautifully done -- she is just dear!

    I am sending you all some sunshine and blessing today... Oh this is only the tip of the heat. Summers here are in the teens.. Yes, I do have AC in the house.. I could not tolerate the heat without it.

    Dearest Penny, I am sorry to be so late...it has been such a hectic (and snowy!) week...but I do not want to miss any of your posts...
    This is one of the sweetest wee ones yet!!
