The Mouse Inspector ~ Sir William ~ ( the cat )

Having trouble with Mice you say?

Sir William is here to stay

As  you see I have captured a wee mouse

Next stop.... Your house

Happy Halloween everyone!
The Mouse Inspector was Needle Felted with fine wool and stands 7 1/2" tall..  I gave him slate blue glass bead eyes. His vest was fashioned with felt..  Monocle was made from wire and cotton thread. I created his cage with wire and balsa wood.
The wee mouse inside the cage is one inch, also needle felted... I really enjoyed creating this set.
I hope he gave you a smile.   He is available on Ebay
Thank you so much for visiting.
blessings,
Penny

  1. OK Magic Maker.....you are making my night. My HALLOWEEEEEEN NIGHT! I you scared the pants off (wait, he doesn't HAVE PANTS!) off Tea Rat! He is very worried; we have ourselves a CAT inspector in Nowhere and a beautiful princess, but she's a cat. So he is not sure where to go!

Oh Penny, his glasses and THE MOUSE HE CAUGHT! You are brilliant. I can just see you working on this, laughing, enjoying yourself, while I'm at school teaching French! Thank you for this blessing of laughter and fun, and Nowhere's name is back in lights! LOVE!

  13. O, Penny,
Sir William looks to be the worst landlord to take rent from. He looks to be collecting rent, rent in little mice that is. Did sir William make his own mouse house cage? I am in love with the cage, I must make one :)

I am not sure i would want to rent from sir William, for all our little mice around here would be gathered up and disposed of...( his dinner) yikes!

This guy and his attire and little extras delight :)

Thank you my sweet dear for inspiring me on a future piece, and for making that long trip to my place leaving sir William without a watchful eye on him.
