Please meet Andre...
I has such fun needle felting this little guy... He is 6 inches in length and to the tip of his tail he measure 7 inches. His eyes are black glass inset beads.. He was needle felted over a wire armature, his core is Sufolk/Hamshire cross sheep wool, top coat is merino wool, needle felted into the core and scissor cut. Claws were wrapped with embroidery thread.. Don't worry, he is very gentle, just a baby you know..
He is available on ebay..
Thank you so much for coming over to meet Andre...

What a darling, he looks real. We have skunk visitors to our back patio, they are so pretty. I posted a photo of one a few weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteHello Andre,
ReplyDeleteI saw this baby skunk on my side bar, Penny, and I thought it was real! You did a fantastic job on him. He is precious and looks adorable sitting next to those pretty blue and purple flowers. I went to So Cal for Mother's Day, and had a wonderful time. It would be so nice to meet someday when I'm there, wouldn't it?
Have a lovely week.
~Sheri
Sheri, oh yes! It would be wonderful to meet someday when you are in California... I would love it!
DeletePenny,
ReplyDeleteI thought Seal Beach was the most charming town. I bought a really cute glass paperweight at one of the shops there. And they had the best bakery with the most amazing looking desserts. Such a fun time.

DeleteAww! Andre sniffing the pretty blue flowers. They must smell so nice! He looks wonderful! So alive and sweet and soft. Every creature you make shows another stride forward in skill and realism. Such creative talent and such careful, dedicated craft.
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness, this is so real, so cute!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you saw my post where i captured the photo of a black bear and her two cubs, well in that area i smelled the faint scent of skunk
so i wonder if the bears got sprayed
i have smelled it a few times in the woods
either a skunk is spraying all sorts of critters
or the bears have been near a few times
i bet you did not include the skunk gland in this charming critter of yours ;-)
hello again,
ReplyDeletethe bear is on my Spirithelpers blog:
