Please meet Daphne the Easter Duck

Good afternoon dear friends...  My latest needle felted sculpture, Daphne...  Her eyes are glass beads, her feet are sculpted of polymer clay.   I created her vest, bonnet and basket with felt..  I had a DUH moment, just realized that I could needle felt flowers on the  vest and bonnet.. I also discovered that I could needle felt the seams instead of sewing them.. Hello!   teee.

I hope she brings a little sunshine, and a smile to you all.
Thank you so much for your continued support and kindness as I travel along my road of creations.
Bless each and every one of you.
Penny
p.s.  I could not help myself.. I fashioned her a dress and bonnet this afternoon.  I think blue is her color.

  2. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

You are a poet of felt. I have declared that needle felted poetry is a new genre. HEAR THAT, LITERARY WORLD??????? HELLO!

Penny, you did it again, woman! My little pocketbook is smiling as I do not have access to Ebay, or else, I WOULD STRIKE! And I already have several of your water fowl and other various feathered friends, but this little gal is TEMPTING!

She is darling. So dear and sweet, and isn't the creating journey fun? To discover, "OH, I could have done that....duh!"

Nonetheless, she is absolutely charming. MAY SHE FETCH A GOOD PRICE! BRAVO! Anita

  15. Oh Penny, I have such a soft spot for these ducks of yours QUACKITY QUACK QUACK! And two outfits to waddle around in! I want someone to purchase her right away and buy her a nice little plastic swimming pool with a diving board. I love my little Penny duck, Eloise. She is one of my prize possessions as she pulls a gentle orange smile from my shelf in the studio.
