  6. Hmmmm..... I don't know if we should trust this fella., despite his innocent looks. I have heard tell, that owls have a recipe for pie that requires one fat little white mouse. Bebe should stay invisible for a bit longer.

  7. OOoo.....Jeri is right here, above my head. I do KNOW for a fact that owls love MOUSE PIE! And owls go by the recipe and I do believe that the general consensus is that one fat white mouse IS the only ingredient that you cannot skimp on! SO I THINK that Bebe is missing because she is in HIDING! Whew, Tea Rat is relieved he is a rat and brown, not white! teeeheeeeeee

HEY! THANKS FOR ALERTING ME to the haps over at Jeri's farm! I LAUGHED myself silly with her prose and pictures and when I saw those white fluff balls, I just about cried. She has her hands full, that is for dang certain! teeeeheee....we need each other, us artist types. Because we are the ones who at the end of the day, put a smile on peoples' faces. Oh that was a HOOT! Speaking of HOOT, this owl won't stop hooting until he finds the perfect mouse, so I doubt we will see Bebe until he can find what he is looking for!

    LOVE YA!

  17. Precious friends! All y'all: BEBE, OWL THE WISE, JASPERLOT, ZOE...all y'all- thank you so much for the Nowhere fun! Early this morning (around 1:00am) I could not sleep so there you were. Ruben was up still and we both went onto Nowhere. Now that's the way we like it: to find the magic alive, no matter what time of the day or night.

Thank you dearest Penny, for taking the time to bring sweet Bebe alive again for US.

    BIGGEST HUGS! Anita and Ruben

  18. Dear Penny, I finally made it over to see what you have been up to my friend, and just look at this precious sweet young owl! I think Bebes capture would only result in making yet another friend for her, who could not resist sweet Bebe? Love what you do Penny, always such a sweet, gentle way within your heart, hands, and art. It is very admirable to create with such amazing, peaceful outcome ..Kudos to you my SWEET friend! xoxox Christel

  19. Dear Penny,
Your Owl is so adorable. His soft body is precious. I have a thing for owls, you know? They remind me of Nel, who is working on her Ph.D. right now, and owls are known to be very smart indeed. I just love to see your creations. I love home decorating, but I don't create much any more. I must get back to that. Have a sweet day, Penny.

  20. Dear Penny~
I must tell you, I had a dream last night. It happened in the middle of the night and there was a glorious full moon in my dream. I went out in my backyard in my nightgown and looked up at the moon and huge owls were flying across the moon. All of a sudden they turned and flew down to me and they were beautiful! They had silver tips on their wings and they landed on my fence. It was magical!

When I lived at the Fairyland we had many owls who lived in old tree snags in the Fairyland. Every Janurary they would mate and the woods would be alive with their hooting and the flapping of their wings. I always saw it as magical. Once I found a little baby owl on the mini golf course. The Wildlife Department came and took him in their care.

Loved this post and the memories it stirred in me.
