Bebe is all set for Valentine's day.. She reguested a toy this year... No chocolate she said. You know I can never refuse her any request, so I made her a little toy mouse sculpted in Fimo... It is 1 1/4" in length..
As for Bebe, this is my first Bebe sculpted in paperclay. I must say it was enjoyable..
Her fur (merino wool) has been cut and hand applied, tiny pieces at a time. She is holding her little red purse and wearing her handmade felt bonnet. She stands 2 3/4" tall and is available on Ebay

ReplyDeleteFirst of all, my daddy used to play this in the evenings on his piano. I can see the iron chandelier above my head all lit up, myself twirling on the old tattered rug, and seeing my father's happiness as he played this song.
NOW THIS BEBE IS EXTREMELY CUTE WITH HER TOY! She is a smart girl to request a wind up toy instead of chocolates; too much of a sweet thing can expand the little mouse waist!!!!!!!
The happiness I seek? Friends like you who will never let art die, NEVER. You know what I'm doing right now? Crying my eyes out.
