What a wonderful Valentines Day I had at Tarranea, a beautiful Resort located right on the ocean ( Rancho Palos Verdes, CA) . There is a long walking trail that is open to the public, places to sit and relax, watch the ocean birds and smell the fresh ocean air.. What a day we had.. I would love to save up my pennies, book a room and spend a weekend here.. My darling grandchild made my Valentines Day one to hold in my heart always... Next time we do this, I am taking Jasper and Zoe along... Well, maybe one at a time.. As you can see she brought Bella and Gysmo.. Britt takes Bella here once a week.. She lives only a hop and a skip away. It was a 90 mile drive for me, but worth ever minute..
I don't know if you can see, but the third photo down, if you look over to the top left, there was a women and her white Schnauzer out on the rocks. She was taking photos of him... Made me a little nervous with him being off leash for the photo shoot, but he was very well behaved.. Little guy sat right on the edge.
I hope everyone had a lovely Valentine's day.. I hope to visit you all this evening. Thank you so much for your visit.
Love and blessings,
Penny

Dear Penny,
ReplyDeleteHow lovely that you and your dear Grand-daughter were able to visit this gorgeous place and you had a happy Valentines day.
Your photos are lovely of you and her and her dogs.
Yes, you would not want the little white dog to slip and I do see him out on the cliff.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend
hugs
Carolyn
Penny I heard tell that you had eyes the color of the deep blue sea, I think Anita said it. I can just about detect it from your photo, but your face is shaded. You look lovely and content on your little holiday, I am happy for you!
ReplyDeletePENNY, PENNY, PENNY! THERE YOU ARE! My goodness, you lucky woman, YOU. To have a grandchild who treats you like a queen? That is a gift that lasts a lifetime. THEN THE BEACH? My goodness, I cannot wait to get over to California (I hope) in the next two weeks. I am not sure if I will make it to the ocean, but Palos Verdes was a place that I visited ONCE.
ReplyDeleteWhat a Valentine's treat this was for you. I am so sorry to be late, but lately, when I work my substitute teaching jobs, more of my time seems to be taken away than when I worked full-time! How is that?
I WILL SEE YOU VIA EMAIL! LOVE TO YOU! Anita
Oh, thanks for visiting my post...a bit different, but I ENJOYED TRANSLATING!
