Back to the Movie classics..
This little starlet has been firmly needle felted... She stands on her glittered high heels.
I fashioned her dress from wired ribbon, shoes are felted, with a wood heel, painted with a little glitter added. Micro beads were applied to the top of her toes.
Hope she gave you a giggle.
She is available on Ebay
Thank you all for visiting.
See you at the movies!

ReplyDeleteGood luck with her auction!!
BRILLIANT.....Brilliant..!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYa know, when I came yesterday, the music did not go on for me. This morning (my volume was up and I didn't know it), the 20th CENTURY FOX introduction came on and caught me by WONDERFUL SURPRISE! teeehee - I had to come back "properly", as Tea Rat would say, to examine her little shoes and fly-away dress! Tea Rat is rather impressed and wants to know when her next movie is. He would also be glad to escort her down the red carpet at Grauman's Chinese Theatre and watch her plant her little paws in the cement. He also would enjoy watching officials put in her star on the Walk of Fame (he is wondering if they can make him one...teeehee), and the list goes on. HE LOVES HER and will have a pin-up of her in his chamber...hmmm.....

ReplyDeleteThanks Melody! Must give credit to my granddaughter for coming up with the title..

Penny, your music gets to me every time. And look at those high heel shoes hehehe. The dress she is wearing looks a lot like the white dress Marilyn wore in her famous pose. All your creations look so real, and that's why I love them so much. They even look like they have a little personality.

Hello, Penny!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry you missed the Mad Tea Party! I missed it last year because my computer crashed. And I missed Anita's French Blog Party as I had just done the Mad Tea Party. Usually Vanessa at 'A Fanciful Twist' has the Mad Tea Party hosted in the middle of June and this year is was July 12 thru that week.
Hope you are having a lovely summer!
Have a blessed rest of the week and weekend!
hugs,
Teresa

OH my goodness, PENNY! Adorable...down to the shoes! That is just the cutest. You make so many people smile with your creative charm. Hearing the music playing makes me want to watch an old movie. Thanks for stopping by recently...we are still recouping. I was just visiting at Anita's and telling her that I took the boys shopping a couple days ago and it wiped me out...I was so exhausted after that and yesterday I was feeling much worse again...but today better. I will be glad when we're all 100% again.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a beautiful weekend...enjoy some sunshine. :)
Love to you,
Heidi
