Please meet Spencer the Bear

Hello again... This is Spencer.. Lovingly needle felted in wool..  He is 5 inches tall seated..
Eyes are hand painted inset beads..
This summer has gone by so fast..  Soon fall will be here...  Truth be told, I am looking forward to some cool weather, are you?  All the outside projects I had in mind this year have yet to be completed due to the heat.
Thank you so much for visiting..

I  hope you enjoyed your stay..
Love and blessings,
Penny

  1. Spencer is adorable!

Oh Penny, if you wonder why I haven't asked you any more questions about needle-felting lately, it's because I have not had any time to get any further on my projects! But I've had a fabulous time playing with grandkids!

What a treasure Spencer the bear is! You are so talented, and anyone who makes such wonderful things has a heart of gold!

  3. Dear Penny, your lovely Spencer is adorable to see. I love his hat and collar with the tiny bells! How can you ever work with wool in the heat, my friend ;)?
After two cool days the weather here is too hot again, there even is a new heat wave! I now take a break from my miniature work, because I can't work due to the heat: glue stays liquid and I can't even touch the clay!
    Blessings, stay cool ;)!
    Hugs, Ilona

    1. Dear Ilona,
      Thank you so much!
Well, if it were not for the AC I would not be working with it.. Cool in the house compared to the outside, so I am good.
So sorry it is to hot for you to work in the heat.
      Blessings to you

  4. Pleased to meet you, Spencer! I am so happy to see the name is being honored by your lovely maker. :) Along with many friends, I had hoped England's new prince would bare the name in memory of his beautiful grandmother, Diana, but it was not to be. Oh well, you carry it well. :)
Always a delight stopping by, Penny, and I am always ready to get summer over with and head full speed ahead toward AUTUMN!!!
    Have a beautiful day, friend.

  7. Oh my word!! Spencer is so cute and I love the personality that shines through his perfect little face!! He is perfection...his proportion is perfect in every way!!

I forgot to tell you on my other post that my blog header is a picture of my Grandson at 3 days old. I take newborn photos and he was the perfect model...lol

Then I take the picture and make a pencil drawing out of it and add a fancy border.

Thank you for the compliments on it.

Give Spencer a hug and kiss from me!!

I know some crazy squirrels, some bold rabbits and a Tea Rat that would love to play with you. How I wish we could play in Nowhere again....and you little man would be the perfect bear for the circus!!!!!!!

  11. Penny,
You always surprise me with your adorable creations. Spencer is so cute, and I love the little purple hat and collar on him. His face is sweet too, and that means a lot to me when their faces are likeable.

Yes, it has been very hot here too, and wish it would cool down a bit. I think that's why I like the Fall so much.

    Have a lovely weekend, Penny.

    Love,
