This wee princess was hand sculpted of polymer clay... She sits a mere 2" tall.
I did not attach her to her tiny seat... She is removable from the coach.
Total height of this piece is 8 inches, wire leg stand is 10 inches wide.
Her coach is entirely handmade by me with mixed medias.. It is very light weight and should be handled with a gentle hand... The coach itself, like the pink one is made with ridgid wrap, painted a black green and covered with an antique cotton doily.. Inside has been covered in silver glitter... This tiny seat was made from a cork, and the back of the chair is hand cut cardstock that I covered in silver glitter.. Ivory tulle has been attached to the chair. I cut a piece of cardboard for the door, painted and covered with silver micro beads.
I have made two different stands for this piece.. One, paper wrapped, painted wire legs, the other is cardboard ( an empty ribbon spool) that I
embellished with paint, antique doily and black ribbon.
embellished with paint, antique doily and black ribbon.
I hope you have found this little princess and her coach pleasing to the eye.
Thank you so much for taking time out to visit.
Love and blessings,
Penny
Oh Penny, this little baby princess is exquisite. You must have very tiny hands to work in such a small space... and so very artistic in your creativity!

ReplyDeleteYou are a fairy. Hands down, YOU are a fairy that weaves from golden and silver threads the most beautiful of ideals. This coach is pure magic. THE CROWN, THE SEAT, THE STANDS, the princess herself. Oh I adore what you do my dearest one. You mean the world to me dear heart and I cannot wait to see what you will whip up NEXT! Every view of your new creations is an experience for me to breath your beautiful friendship.

Oh Penny Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteMy gosh is this little darling not ever priceless? I love her little face, and look at those little toes. My gosh, you must see these creations in your mind, and your hands just go to flying. Do you ever sleep?
Love her little coach, befitting of a princess. Just when I think you can never do any better, than another one pops right off the pages.
Thank you for sharing her Penny. She is so perfect. What a precious gift for a Mother for Mother's Day. Have a beautiful weekend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry
Good evening dear friends
ReplyDeleteI will go to sleep tonight inspired by your thoughtful and most kind words.. Thank you so much.
If you have time, wander over to see what Sherry (Country Wings in Phonenix) has made for her mother and more.. They are just beautiful.
Genie, my hands are not tiny, (wish they were)far from it I believe. Very long fingers, would have been good on the piano.
Anita, I have no idea what I will share, but will put on my thinking cap.. Maybe I should consult Bebe on this one.
Blessings,
Penny
