Hello dear friends
Late September I purchased another sketch journal. Since then I have put pencil to paper and have drawn 30 portraits. I have tried to at least draw one a day, and there were days I accomplished 2 or more. Not satisfied with all, but practice is always a plus for anything you plunge yourself into. Art has always been a comfort to me and helped me through many challenging times.
I hope you enjoy viewing and also the music.
Thank you so much for visiting.
blessings,
Penny
Only time, as the song says....only time can truly enrich our lives as we give of our time to the things that matter. Dearest friend, my eyes are glazed over in joyful tears to see your art emerge once again. The time you've put into the people in your life who you love, the time you've put into your art work that heals, all that time will never run out. Your rendering is soft and gentle as you, a gorgeous expression of the Penny I have always known and loved. SO GOOD TO SEE YOU!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh My!!! This portrait is absolutely gorgeous! You are very talented. Art has helped me through some hard stuff, especially lately....And so good to hook up with other artists!

She is beautiful, Penny. It looks like she has a nostalgic look on her face, and her lips are pretty. You are so very talented. And I love the song "Only Time." Thank you for letting me hear it again today.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by. And Yes, I do love the seasons here, but sometimes miss the other pleasant things when I lived in So Cal. I will be there for Christmas, so it should be fun.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful painting…nice sweet face…love the music…love from me Ria 🍀💗🙏💗🍀
ReplyDeleteThe portrait is showing, that there is more than just one world, there is also a wonderful timlessness to it. Not just a portrait like a fotography, no, it is more to it, as there is soulfulness. I really love, that you are diving into art - but hey, it is a piece of heaven, isn´t it?
