Hello there. I know, it has been quite a while since my last post, sometimes life sends you in a different direction. Since I have nothing current to share I thought I would show you this. I have yet to finish it, just tucked away in the glass cabinet.
Some of you may remember the little pink coach with a mouse inside that I had created years ago. Anyway, last year I thought it would be fun to needle felt a few horses and a unicorn to pull the coach. I have to say they were truly a challenge. Felted with sheep's wool.
. Maybe one day when I have time I will finish.
Can you see the wee mouse inside on the left?
The little fairy is also from long ago. She was just the right size to drive the coach so I made her a seat and attached it. A polymer clay sculpture with dried roses for her clothing.
What a cute stagecoach and fairy and unicorn and horses, Penny. There is so much detail in every piece. I hope you are able to finish this project. I think it would be so nice for a grandchild to play with. It really is darling.

*yes, it was warm in So Cal when I visited, but not too hot in Nel's area. In the mountains, it is a bit cooler this week. Have a good rest of the week, Penny.
Beautiful…have a nice weekend Penny…love from me and Leaf 🍀💗🐾🍀
ReplyDeleteDear, dear friend....you know that my heart still beats passionately for this miniature life that a few of us reveled in, played in, like children again. I am loving this and the magic of the white horses and unicorn has touched my heart this morning. Thank you for bringing back this enchantment for me today. And the weather....EEEK! We are now in the high 70s, rain and that "back to school" feel. I prefer that! OK my dear, looking forward to hearing from you soon!
ReplyDeleteYour work is so beautiful. Enchanting!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you are needle felting again and this is such a gem! I love the detail and I think it's so hard to do "legs" so three cheers on the horses. I hope you stay a bit cool. This is so magical; thanks for setting my imagination awhilrl!
ReplyDeleteOh Penny this is so adorable. So glad you shared...bet you will finish this project soon. Love your needle-felted horses and the miniature mouse is precious. Take care friend and have a great week. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteDear Penny, I'm really amazed how creative you are. Certainly I enjoyed looking repeatedly on your creations. I hope you are doing well and that you'll find more time soon to finish your project. Have a pleasant weekdays ahead.
ReplyDeleteHello again! I may have shown the Hansa rose on my blog-but not recently. I will try to get a picture after this rain lets up!
