Ed the Egret is back!

Guess you came back this spring for a visit?   ED !  He is such a beautiful Egret.. Last spring he was in my neighbors yard... Yesterday he landed in my front yard.  I was not a home and my nephew took the photos.. He said he eventually walked over to my neighbors house and actually went up on their porch.. But he was unable to get a photo.. Ed took off!

Wishing you all a beautiful weekend.

  3. THIS is no wonder. There has to be an ED in your magical wonderland! He knows that. And he needs a little pond... ;)))
Penny; i am so happy, and you too, because you have the eyes to see the wonders happening around you.

  4. ED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SO! You are the secret guest! Oh my Penny, I would have been intrigued to see this chap coming up my front walk! LORD ABOVE, you have a permanent resident here! These birds are fascinating, and do live quite a long time, don't they! We have seen who I am suspecting is the same one, over at one of the small ponds up the road. Oh the beauty of nature when it breaks that "fourth wall" and comes into our space. This is a time to stop and watch and let the rest of the world just go by at its fast pace.

KEEP WATCH; maybe he'll come back!

  8. Nice guy, will he stay for coffee and tea? We have a crane that visits our creek, not quite as sociable as yours. Oh, to be so long and slender! I can see him in a top hat.
