After the rain, the roses said thank you!... The buds on this old red rose really opened up.
I have just two red roses, An old french rose in the back yard, and one on the side of the house. This one... It was here when we bought the house.
GOOD GLORY. That first image? THOSE LOOK like the rose climber we planted last year! I LOVE THOSE! Penny, they are burgeoning with love! And the bonica miniatures, the color! Can you smell the scent from the house?
PENNY! Good morning dear heart! You can smell them then when you are at the front door! Oh the perfume must be captivating! Ahhhhh....I can't wait to share mine with you!
Hi Penny. Oh, I am ever so envious of your beautiful roses. I would bring armfuls into the house just to fill the rooms with that wonderful fragrance!! Happy Spring....it looks more like summer there!
Penny, your roses never fail to empress, year after year I look forward to your fence lined up with blooming beauty. As for the red roses, they really are beautiful, they cascade like a boquet red. I see the start of you pruning away, and the vases filled about your home bountifully.
I imagine Penny you have the soft frangance of your beautiful roses in vases gracing your home. The first of May I am finally trying my hand at planting a rose bush in a large urn. Eyes, fingers and toes crossed my thumb remains Green. Thanks for your visit Penny always love when you do. I am about to try the chopped yarn techinque on my next clay mouse. Hope it's successful. Sending love and hugs your way 🌹Vera
Oh, your red roses just made my day, Penny. Now, is this the French rose bush, or one on the side of the house? It's so pretty. And I love the color of your Pink miniature roses. After pruning mine, they haven't started to bloom yet, I'm still waiting.
