The Princess and the Mouse Pencil sketch

Today I was gazing out the kitchen window while doing dishes... What popped into my head? This image below.. I have no idea why... I was watching the rabbits play, not a mouse in sight.
So your guess is as good as mine... But I must say it was  enjoyable sketching this.
I hope you enjoy.

Have a wonderful weekend!

THIS IS DARLING! She makes me think of Cinderella!!!! Well, this little darling princess and her sweet mouse friend could inspire a load of stories!!!!!! I LOVE HER! Back for more in a minute....

  5. It's a wonderful thing to go from imagination to paper, so that all can see what is going on in your mind.Your mind was full of something peaceful and endearing, she is lovely. My gosh, I was just holding a mouse in MY hand too! Well, maybe not a real mouse.....

  12. Dear Penny isn't it strange how our different muses stop to visit. This is absolutely so sweet. With the mouse looking up and the princess looking down makes one think there is a conversation going on. Hmm wonder what they might be discussing? ?

  13. Penny, what a wonderful idea for a sketch. Love your little mouse and his princess!
And thank you so much for your kind compliments on my latest works. I am creeping along slowly with the tugs in the fog - don't want to lose that fragile softness of the fog.
