I am still working with my pencils.. This particular portrait was inspired by this song, from the soundtrack of Braveheart. I hope you enjoyed viewing her.
Camille is very lovely Penny! She has a sweet innocence in her eyes and the music gives a bit of longing in them too! Have a wonderful day! Warmth and sweetness , Linnie
Dear Penny, I so agree with the first comment about Camille's innocence and also a sadness and intensity of awareness in her sweet heart. Penny you are very gifted and this pencil drawing is beautiful. Enjoy a beautiful evening we are just relaxing tonight. xoxo, Vera
First of all, I love this movie and the soundtrack.
Secondly, Camille is my beloved Auntie's name who just passed last November.
THEN THERE'S YOUR SKETCH. You have a gift to create eyes that speak, that look right into you with a simplicity that is VERY STRONG. Not too much distraction, but eyes that look straight at you. She is beautiful. I am loving your pencil sketches with no color; and how you have shaded her beautiful tunic, a sheer feel to it. Simply profound and ever so lovely. MORE MORE! Much love to a great friend, forever my angel.
Penny, this sketch and the one below is absolutely beautiful. I wish I had your talent, my friend. I love the movie Braveheart, and I've seen it many times. You drew Camille's face so lovely.
I wanted to tell you that the horse I bought today was a picture that you can hang on the wall, and it has a stand in the back if you want to put it on a desk or dresser. I didn't make myself too clear, kind of did the post in a rush. But I loved and appreciated your kind words. You are such a dear person, Penny.
Camille looks like a very determined young woman! I love the portrait below her, too. Such a wistful expression...what, or who, is she thinking of? Both are beautiful. You're very talented, my friend!
Your pencil sketches are amazing Penny. The music from Braveheart is perfect for Camille. Thank you for sharing this beauty with us! Blessings, Edie Marie and Marie Antoinette
