Please meet Oliver the Marmoset and his companion..

It was such a joy to work on this piece..  Oliver is needle felted over a wire armature and is gently posable.  I got so focused when working on him  that I did not take any in progress photos.  Oh well,  this is the end result of long hours and a lot of fun..  He will be traveling with a wee mouse.  I thought he could use a friend.  He is available Ebay for a five day auction..
Thank you so much for coming over to meet Oliver.  As you can see he like to climb around the house

Shall I sing you a song little one?

Put me down I say!

Hi there!  Coming down

Shhhhhh.. She is sleeping

When she takes an nap,  I PLAY

And just hang out

How do I get out of here?

TA DA!... Come on..  Give me a hug!

Thank you so much for your visit... I hope Oliver gave you a smile
Love and blessings,
Penny

  1. I AM LAUGHING so hard at Oliver's antics around THE HOUSE! Penny, you are on OVER-DRIVE HERE! And what a generous offer to give him a little playmate to accompany him to his new home....

The wool is stunning and so suitable for this type of creature! He is hilarious and that he is posable is SO FUN....look at all he can do! BRAVO BRAVO! I had to pin that one photo of him waving....Penny, you are a genius. And Violet's new post today talks about PLAY, and I believe you have the GENIUS of play.

Thank you for making my cold day so much warmer. LOVE!!!!!

  4. Penny,
When I first came over and heard the music sounds of the jungle I was curious, and then I saw Oliver! He's adorable. The last picture of him clinging to the door knob made me chuckle. The first picture looks so real, as if he's truly caring for his dear mouse friend.

How do you do it, Penny? You make me smile every time. And thank you for your comment today. Yes, there is beauty everywhere, especially in your heart, my friend.

    Love,
    ~Sheri
