Well this was fun... A while back dear Dore of Burlap Luxe suggested that I take a look through the Anthropologie Catalog .. She said, I thought it would inspire you to make some.. Well that it did..
You may click on the catalog to see the amazing finger puppets there... They are very realistic.
Mine are a more whimsical look.. I hope you enjoy them.
Please take a moment to stop in and say Bonjour to dear Dore.
Thank you for the inspiration Dore!
Enjoy your evening everyone and thank you for your visit.

Oh, Penny, dear!
ReplyDeleteThey tell their own story in a finger puppet show :)
I adore your grey mouse, and that black bad bunny charms the goodness out of you. How fun it would be to watch a puppet show with your animals that come to life :)
I am not sure i was much inspiration you give me credit for, but seeing what you have done with wool, a catalog site, and your fingers that create amaze our soulful play.
You my dear amaze our eyes.
I am now imagining a young child's eyes light up with a whimsical penny production with her wooly finger puppets :)
I will have to share this with my Hannah who collected finger puppets as a child and still has them 20 years later :)
Xoxo
Keep on creating, and keep on inspiring.
Doré
Ps. Thank you for the mention, I adore you dearly.

Dear Penny,
ReplyDeleteHow darling your little finger puppets are - so cute.
Thanks for visiting me dear friend and you asked about the little flowers - they are violas.
Wishing you a happy week

ReplyDeleteThank you for coming by last night...hey, I popped a blood vessel in my eye and it HURT so badly...I wonder if I was on the computer too long yesterday?

Wowwww so lovely !!!......so sweet !!!..is that a pink mason jar under the mouse ???
ReplyDeleteYes dear Ria, a pink mason jar!
DeleteLovely week darling ...to quick !!!..x !
ReplyDeleteI have always been a sucker for puppets of any kind. These are simply enchanting, especially that sweet mouse!
ReplyDeleteThanks for popping by the Gypsy. You aren't alone in considering the possibilities of corks. I have Christmas tree cork ornaments and I'm always cutting them in half to use as a dimensional piece on a canvas. There are whole books about it! But I have enough projects on my plate!
Hahaha Penny, these are soooo cute. My kids used to play with hand pupets when they were little. Jess would love the little rabbit. They are so soft and adorable.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I just went to Anthropologie yesterday. There's one right down the road where I live. They have the most unique things there, don't they?
Have a beautiful week.
Love,
~Sheri
