  5. Well, you should see my face at the moment dearest! I RAN OVER HERE AFTER I SAW YOUR EMAIL!!! I L.O.V.E. mischievious little RABBITS! You should see the cotoneaster bush in the back of my house; we are taking it completely down since they bulldozed through it this winter for construction, but what was left, the bunnies ate to a NUB! THEY EAT BARK DURING THE LONG WINTER! Your bunnies have juicy grass to eat! ARE THEY STILL EATING YOUR LAVENDER? Naughty bunnies! These little critters here are so darling, so sweet, and PLEASE LITTLE MOPSY, COTTONTAIL and FLOPSY, where is PETER? I BET HE IS WITH BENJAMIN over here in MY GARDEN! I see their tracks in the snow and they look like cowboy boot tracks!!!!! OH PENNY, THESE LITTLE MOTELY CREW ARE JUST SWEET AS CAN BE!!! LOVE IT, LOVE YOU! Anita

  7. Very lovely Penny, just as soft as Spring itself. You can't blame the bunnies for wanting to enjoy your garden, they simply love tulips and always delight in a few "forget me nots" for breakfast.

  8. Beatrix Potter would be so proud of you, painting bunnies. The way I see it, you two have so much in common. They are warm and cute and fuzzy, all rolled into one. They must have been pure pleasure to paint!
I miss having time to comment, working hard at a "normal life" whatever that is. Love sent...always!

I had a few tulips, key word here is had.. Yes, you cannot blame the bunnies.. I so enjoy watching them when they visit, even if they want a snack.

  11. Penny, Your garden sounds pretty plentiful to me! I do not know why those buns would just chew off the stalks and leave them...flossing their teeth maybe? Silly little buns!

  20. Oh Sweet Friend...
What a beautiful painting. I love the little rabbits. Beatrix Potter does come to mind. I loved reading those stories to my children when they were small. So pretty.

How lovely to have rabbits in your garden to watch each day, even though they can certainly play havoc with our plants and vegetables.

I hope you have a beautiful St. Patty's Day sweetie. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

  25. Teeeeheeee! I love how each sequence of shots shows more, and more, and MORE BUNNIES in the field! That's just like real life! DO YOU HAVE ANY YET IN YOUR GARDEN? Oooooh, I bet you do! We only have one little feller that lives under our stairs. Every time I come out of the kitchen, he darts off; but does he ever come back quickly when I leave. Oh dearest, thank you for visiting me! AND DITTO DEAR ONE....you have brought much laughter, joy and inspiration to me and on an almost daily basis, when we can visit!!! RUBEN COMES HOME TODAY!!! You know he has been gone on a week-long trip down south to the Civil Rights Movement hotspots. He and the history department when down. BUT TODAY, RATTUS COMES BACK!!! I am so excited. Well, now to work on a blog post; I had company last night and by the time she left (we had a blast), I was BUSHED!!! HOW IS THAT PATIO COMING ALONG?

    BACK LATER DEAR ONE!!! Anita
