I hope this little painting brings a smile.. It was inspired by the mischievous little rabbits that visit my garden each morning... Wishing all a wonderful week ahead.
This painting did indeed bring a SMILE along with sweet warm heart fullness. I think I shall just keep this babbling stream and birds in the back ground today! I LOVE it!! :-) ;-)
Warm greetings Linnie How kind of you to drop in and leave such a sweet note. Thank you so much.. I just love your drawings and your dear little mice! Enjoy your week Blessings, Penny
Hi Penny! This painting did indeed bring many smiles! I think many of us are thinking spring, and bunnies! I am working on a couple of bunnies too. Your painting is as sweet as you! Big warm hugs your way! XOXO Christel
Well, you should see my face at the moment dearest! I RAN OVER HERE AFTER I SAW YOUR EMAIL!!! I L.O.V.E. mischievious little RABBITS! You should see the cotoneaster bush in the back of my house; we are taking it completely down since they bulldozed through it this winter for construction, but what was left, the bunnies ate to a NUB! THEY EAT BARK DURING THE LONG WINTER! Your bunnies have juicy grass to eat! ARE THEY STILL EATING YOUR LAVENDER? Naughty bunnies! These little critters here are so darling, so sweet, and PLEASE LITTLE MOPSY, COTTONTAIL and FLOPSY, where is PETER? I BET HE IS WITH BENJAMIN over here in MY GARDEN! I see their tracks in the snow and they look like cowboy boot tracks!!!!! OH PENNY, THESE LITTLE MOTELY CREW ARE JUST SWEET AS CAN BE!!! LOVE IT, LOVE YOU! Anita
Hi Christel Thank you so much my friend.. Oh, I can't wait to see your bunnies.. Enjoy your evening. Always good to see you here. Blessings, Penny
Greetings Bonnie! I am so happy you are back.. It is nice to have the longer days for sure. I just love your post.. What fun. Thank you for your kind words. Blessings, Penny
Dearest Anita I love them too! Well, I had a talk with them last summer about eating the lavender... They have not touched it this year... Do you suppose it was because I said PLEASE? Teehee.. Thank you so much for your encouraging words, it means alot to me. Bisous! Penny
Very lovely Penny, just as soft as Spring itself. You can't blame the bunnies for wanting to enjoy your garden, they simply love tulips and always delight in a few "forget me nots" for breakfast.
Beatrix Potter would be so proud of you, painting bunnies. The way I see it, you two have so much in common. They are warm and cute and fuzzy, all rolled into one. They must have been pure pleasure to paint! I miss having time to comment, working hard at a "normal life" whatever that is. Love sent...always! ~Jacqueline~
Me he enamorado de tu cuadro y de la maravillosa vista que debes tener desde tu ventana todas las maƱanas. Que preciosidad, te ha quedado genial. besitos ascension
Greetings Jeri Thank you so much! I wish my garden was so full.. This is my minds eye garden.. Mine consists of roses, lavender, candytuff, dahlia's, blue iris and purple statice.. Penny, Your garden sounds pretty plentiful to me! I do not know why those buns would just chew off the stalks and leave them...flossing their teeth maybe? Silly little buns!
Oh Jackie, what a sweet thing to say.. If nothing else I think she would be proud that I enjoy bunnies as she did. Yes, there were a true pleasure to paint.. I hope all is well with you.. I know you have been so busy with the shop and everything else. Don't forget to stop and smell the roses. Blessings, Penny
