Another wonderful visit with my granddaughter Britt. We talked, enjoyed good food and sat with our sketch books.. I am always in awe of her masterful hands.. With pencil in hand, she draws with such ease, a joy to watch.
She is truly an inspiration to me. She works and attends college. Her major is Art History. We are all so very proud of her.
I hope you enjoy viewing.
Blessings, Penny
Penny, these drawings are so magnificent!! Words can't describe...
ReplyDeleteThe emotion in each face is amazing. Each drawing tells a story and lets the imagination run wild.
Your Granddaughter has a wonderful talent. She is a rising STAR!!

Oh, I am so late; Ruben needed to be on the computer for most of the day, but this, this is magical Penny. Please give Brit our fondest regards and that we believe in her talent 100%! She is choosing however, a wonderful niche in the art world, and may she be successful in becoming an expert and professional in every way! She is young, so who knows? When she gets to be my age, maybe she will sell her own art or be commissioned to share more of this phenomenal work!!!! VERY, VERY AMAZING! Art runs in the family! BISES MY DEAR FRIEND! Anita
ReplyDeleteLike grandmother, like granddaughter. I am not surprized at the beauty and fine art displayed.
ReplyDeleteYou must pop over and see Gretta's sisters baby today! Almost as cute as BeBe but not quite!
Dearest one, I just had to pop over again to see Brit's work. How are you? You know what? I miss you so....I just got a huge memory of that day I saw you for the first time, on that sunny day in Old Orange County. And as I see BEBE and CO. pass by me as I type, I have a happy thought in my heart, knowing you and your world. Bless you, Anita
ReplyDeleteHello Penny Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness has this child ever got talent? God has truly gifted her and she is going to go so far with this talent. She is so wonderful with her detail, and the expressions are so exquisite.
I can just hear the voices talking through these sketches, wonderful. The first one sees her true love as he approaches her. Her breath is taken by his approach. And the second one appears to be saying, "Oh no, why didn't anyone tell me. I had no idea."
Brit, you go girl. One day I can say I knew you when.
Thanks for sharing Penny sweetie. Many hugs and so much love, Sherry
Thank you my friends taking time to visit, and for leaving such heartfelt words. I will pass along your beautiful thoughts to Brittany. I know this will encourage her and will be most appreciated.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to all
Penny
How wonderful to have your grand daughter following in your artistic footsteps, although with her own style. It must be so much fun to sit together and create art. My children have talents in other areas, but I always wished we could share a love for art.
ReplyDeleteBrit is extremely talented. These are just fabulous. She is going places, that's for sure! Especially since she has such a loving and talented grandmother! Thanks for sharing! I'd love to see more (does she have a blog?)

Hello again! I was just going through your blog and your artwork is wonderful. Wow--I was wondering if you would mind if I featured you and your blog on my art page [www.bethlniquetteart.blogspot.com] for FAT (Featured Art Tuesday) Artist Spotlight tomorrow? It is a little meme I invented to spotlight artists I love, and give other artists a place to see one another's work.
ReplyDeleteThank you for giving that idea consideration. Have a perfectly wonderful day!
