This particular painting was inspired by one of my old sketches I had done years ago.. Acrylic on stretched canvas, it measures 8x10". I wanted to add a little white pearl dimentional paint to this piece.. It has been added to the bow in her hair and to the little angel's wings.. Unfortunately, the camera does not pick it up.. Available on ebay if you would like to view auction. I appreciate any comments you may have..

ReplyDeleteI really like this piece. I didn't notice the fairy until I saw the second picture and it was almost like she appeared out of nowhere to comfort and protect. Just like a real fairy would do. The colors are wonderful. Great job, I am going over to Ebay to watch the auction, best of luck!

My sweet angel Penny...you always sweep me away to a place where ONLY kindness dwells. You have been working hard and yet, your efforts are seamless and exude such tender beauty my dear. The little angel must be little Bebe in disguise....only she could climb up so easily and enchant as such! The profile is so lovely and that BOW! The color is perfect green with such a delicate texture of satin...well done dear one. Painting with acrylic seems to take much skill and time. BRAVO TO YOU DEAR ONE! Dear Penny, good morning sweet one. It must be the week, or perhaps a "season" if you will for reflection. Many of us seem to be thinking along the same lines. You, with this beautiful painting, Patricia, with a very inspiring video, Jacqueline with her wonderful stories of childhood, and the winks from heaven. Anitas always inspiring beautiful posts..I'm certain she has a direct link to the pearly gates..(smiles) I love the tiny angel on the shoulder, for me, it symbolises the autumn of life, where I believe we finally really know ourselves, our heart, and soul, and each of us have an angel. ReplyDeleteGood morning precious one! WOOOOOOOO, was I tired last night after work! Oh dear, I just don't know how long we all at work can last with this infernal schedule! TOday, I have to have a substitute give my kids their first English exam, while I take a training session on how to administer the reading test. While they are taking their written exam, we have to pull one child out at a time to test their reading. BLAHHHHHHHHH! BUT ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY, THERE IS NO SCHOOL!!!!! YIPPPPPPPEEEEE!
