Portrait in pencil

I am sending my blessings to all of you.  It has been much too long since I have visited,  and posted.
Life has a way of turning everyone's days upside down,  and I hope this note finds you all in good health.
I have not picked up my pencils in about 6 months,  and the past several days I have not been able to put them down.   The portrait here was from my imagination,  no one I know.  This is where I find all of my portraits with the exception of drawing my grandchildren and great grandchild.

I hope you enjoy.
Thank you for your taking the time to  visit.
blessings,
Penny

  3. Penny....first of all, it is overwhelmingly joyful to hear from you and see your new blog post. Secondly, you know how I feel about this music; it brings tears to my eyes as the memory of my father playing Clair de Lune when I was a child strikes at my heart.

Then, there is you. Your sweetness, your talent....this portrait Penny is stunning and so gentle. Her eyes are so deep with care and purity. How can I even begin to tell you who much you are loved.

  11. Penny, this pencil drawing is lovely. You know, I have your drawing that you sent me tucked away safely, and when I moved to the mountains, I came across it. I need a pretty frame so I can hang it up in my mountain home. Every time I look at it, I think of you.

I hope this new year brings you much joy and peace and love, Penny.
