A few years a ago I planted 6 Cotton Lavender. They are all grown up now, and when in full bloom are quite beautiful. They are just starting to bloom, so I thought I would share. You can hardly see the bird bath any longer as they have grown so much. I just harvested my French lavender. It still has some left to harvest.
Photo below is the Cotton Lavender. As soon as it is in full bloom it should be solid purple.

Thank you so much for taking time to visit.

Hi Penny! Despite that it makes your birdbath almost unvisible, your Lavender is blooming beautiful. I always love its wonderful color and the scent...it makes me think of the Provence region, in France! Here it will take some more months of warmth and sunshine before the lavender will start to bloom, so I'll patiently have to wait until later ;).

PENNY!!!!! Good morning my friend! Oh that feeling from long ago, when I'd see your blog posts pop up, that feeling is back. How fluffy and beautiful is your cotton lavender, just basking in the sun! I am enjoying my little sachet of French lavender my friend, and may many more harvests fill your heart. HUGS TO YOU!

ReplyDeleteI’m not lucky with lavender. I don’t think we have enough sun. I’m going to follow your blog and hope to see a sea of purple!
ReplyDeleteAlso, would love your paintings!
It will be a heavenly fragrance. Enjoy this blessing.

It looks beautiful, both. Looks like it might be hard to keep water in that bath. But a lovely safe place to bath with bushes all around. I love lavender. I wonder if mine have survived winter. As we still have snow, it will take a month or more to know.
ReplyDeleteWishing you health and joy in your days and nights.
