Time marches on, and due to health issues with myself and daughter who is now in my care, I have not been able to spend time visiting you all, or posting. I can't believe it has been almost 2 years. I am not sure how often I will post, but will try to visit. I have missed everyone so much and think of you often.
I hope you are all doing well, and life is treating you kind.
I have not felted in some time, but have managed to pick up my pencils.
I was going through my portfolio and found this old painting from 2007.
Sending well wishes to you. Bebe sends her love.

Hi Penny,
ReplyDeletehow nice to hear from you! es, real live sometimes keeps us away from things we love to do.
I am happy to have you back here again! Wishing you and your daughter and all your loved ones all the best and looking forward to hear from you from time to time!
Love and hugs, Claudia xo
Dear Penny, I'm sorry to read that you and your daughter are struggling with your health. I can just hope things will go better from now....
ReplyDeleteI love seeing this painting made in 2007, yes, time flies!!
I can imagine very well that you didn't work with felt for some time, this happens often when life comes in the way. Our inspiration drift away when there are troubles, and especially in our near family.
I'm sending love to Bebe, blessings to your daughter and you, take care, dear Penny!
Warm hugs, Ilona
Oh Penny, if only you could hear my sighs, feel my heartbeat, see my smiling face. Beloved friend, I have missed you greatly and I am being 100% honest here: these past two years have been filled with many tearful memories of the love, friendship and creativity that you brought into my life. How precious Bebe and her friends are and this little equine fellow, what is his name? Many wishes for a blessed and healthy year to come to you and your family. Much love!

Hi Penny! I was delighted to see your comment today, think of you often... every time I see the needle-felting characters I bought from you; 5 of them!
ReplyDeletePenny, I have missed you so very much. You inspired me, you know? I took a felting class and I've been addicted ever since. My creatures will never match the detail and style of yours but I love doing it and I think of you with each poke as someone to aspire to. I send great wishes your way as you care for your daughter. And of course for your own health. Biggest hugs!

ReplyDeleteHello dear Penny, it was so good to see a comment of yours this morning. I'm so sorry you and daughter have had health issues. I've been dealing with some of my family's health issues myself. And I'm finding a place to move down south to be closer to Nel. It's a wonder I still blog. I love your painting. It's so sweet. Happy Valentine's Day a little late, and I'm sending my blog friend much love in 2020. I hope you have a good year, Penny.
