Hello dear friends Introducing Angie.... My vintage inspired miniature doll

Happy New Year dear friends and readers.  It feels like I have been away for so long..  I caught a nasty flu bug on New Years Eve,  and  I am finally recovered and getting my strength back, along with a little creativity..

I am anxious to visit everyone, I am sure I have missed so much..  I hope you all are in good health and enjoying the New Year.

Please meet Angie..  First in my  "Children in Spring " collection..  I hope she gives you a smile. She stands 6 inches tall, and completely needle felted over a wire armature.

She holds on to a hand crocheted heart.

Thank you for taking time to visit.
Love and blessings,
Penny

  1. WOW. Oh Penny, first of all, I am so relieved that you are back to good health and that you have regained your strength. You know how well-loved you are, and we all want to wish you a healthy and happy new year. THANK GOD, you are back!

    OK.....drumroll..............

SHE IS DIVINE. Only you, only YOU can capture "personality" in miniature size as such. She has the perfect vintage flair in her expression, like a Cuwpee doll! Everything about her is vintage inspired, and perfectly done. Her little bow in her hair is reminiscent of the 1920s children, her sweet eyes and smile, everything is top notch perfect. BRAVO my friend!!!

  2. Also, her dress....the little dots! And her stance, again, childhood frozen in time, in felt.

  8. This is a marvelous little series you are making Penny! They remind me of the 1920's. I can see you making many more of these. I wondered where you were! So sorry you caught the horrid bug. We've been good so far...

  13. This is adorable! I was addicted to needle felting until my arthritic hand gave out. Thank goodness I can still hold a paint brush. Have to be creative!
