Elf in the house.

Well, actually three...  Last week I created these wee ones, and one more Doll.

This week I have started on my annual Christmas Angel..  I hope to share some WIP photos soon.   I get so caught up in my relief work that the hours just fly, and I loose all track of time..  If it were not for dear little Jasper ( my poodle) I would not know when it is time for dinner.. He always lets me know.  He kicks the trash can!
I know,  you would think he would kick his food bowl, but I guess he feels this gives it more of an effect.  It is LOUD!  haaa  Zoe would never think of doing such a thing.. Not lady like..

I am behind decorating for the holidays,  I see some of you have your beautiful homes all ready for the gatherings..

Here they are...  I hope they give you a smile.  They are available on ebay.

Colette

Thank you so much for taking time to visit with me..
And also for your sweet notes left on my last post..
Back to work on my angel.
Love and blessings,
Penny

  1. Aww, the elves look so cute and Colette is so sweet to see, as usual such lovely work, dear Penny!
I'm glad to read that there's someone watching over you, your Jasper ;). I see that he knows very well how to disturb you when you're "in you own world"......BANG against the bin: dinner time hahaha!
Here, in The Netherlands, we firstly celebrate at the 5th of December the feast of St. Nicholas (like your Santa Claus) and after than we'll decorate our houses for Christmas. I lov this very cosy time full of traditions, enjoy yours!
Have a nice weekend. Blessings, Ilona

  2. You are most DEFINITELY in the zone if Jasper is all that can make you move from the art table! I will look forward to the angel and love seeing today's elves!

  3. GOodness.
You reaaaaaaaallly know what you're doing.
If I were to describe your as an artist, I'd call you a dreamweaver. You make ideas come to tangible existence. You have the ability to weave and sculpt emotion. These elves are OUTRAGEOUSLY darling!!! The little feet, the turned up tips of their elf shoes, PENNY! And this darling winter child, her buttoned up boots! Brilliant. God bless you my friend!

  4. Oh my gosh, these are adorable, Penny. And since I just had a grandbaby, they spoke to me even more. They're such cute elves with their wee bellies showing. And I love the little one in the Purple coat. She has a sweet face.

That is a funny story about Jasper telling you when it's time to eat! hahaha

    Happy Thanksgiving, dear Penny.

  5. Penny, I adore your sweet little chubby elves with their big bellies showing! So cute. And Collete is just too darling for words.
I laughed out loud when you said Jasper kicks the trash can--he sounds very smart. I'm sure he knows how much you are concentrating on your lovely work. ♥

It is so nice to see you here. I am so happy you enjoyed viewing.
I laugh every time he kicks the can, and he has been doing this for years.
