On my table for much too long, but they are a happy and loving pair.. You might ask.... Why would she give Winslow a mouse? eeek? But he has become a vegetarian, so not to worry.. Besides, he has a kind heart.
Winslow stand 12" tall ( a big fellow!) I used Baby Doll sheep's wool for him. It is so soft, and Brambles is a mere 2 1/2" tall. I used Merino wool for her.
I have crocheted a basket for Winslow's berries.. I hope you enjoyed your visit, and that they gave you a smile. They are now available on ebay
Wishing you all a beautiful week.
blessings,
Penny
Oh they are both so cute and their names fit them perfectly. I love the last photo with tiny Bramble in Winslow's berries basket.

HI Drora,
DeleteI am so happy you like them. Thank you!
Of course, they gave me a big smile, Penny, they're such a lovely and adorable couple to start this new day ;)! Okay, Winslow it is, but personally I had to think of another Winslow, the famous man from the British comdey series "Keeping up appearances", that guy is also very "harmless", especially for mice, hehehe ;)! As always I LOVE seeing your needlefelting works, they're so adorable, alwaysmade with love and fantastic work!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a beautiful week too.
Blessings, Ilona

ReplyDeleteYes, he DOES look like a Winslow. What a cute pair you have created, Penny. And those red berries really stand out in the cute crocheted basket. I love the pictures where his paw is up - it looks like he's saying "hello" to us hehehehe. He has such a sweet face, I love him. : )

Hi Penny! It's lovely to see you are atill creating. I decided to take a look at my old blog. I do miss blogging but for now you can find me on FB if you are so inclined. Take care, Bonnie Silva\ Diamonds and daisies. Xo
ReplyDeletePenny, the vintage looking paper in my cabinet is actually a piece of scrapbook paper that I saw out shopping. It is so darling in person, and I just bought it cause it reminded me of Jess and the baby. Nel made her a scrapbook that she'll be giving her this weekend, so maybe she can find some use for it. : )

Penny dear you have chosen delightful names.
ReplyDeleteAnd to see them finished up is such a treat.
Now onto another project. How about a felted cornucopia over flowing with felted pumpkins, gords, and dried corn ears of multi colour. What about some felted Christmas trees with felted ornaments ?? I am sure you will surprise us once again.
