Oh Penny, I am smiling so widely here, as I am enjoying the result of your perseverance. You worked on her and got her just as you pleased, and what an accomplishment. I LOVE HER HAIR! I especially love seeing the back of her hair, that looks perfect. Wow, I can't get over her cheeks, chin and lips!!!!! And her little dress, just like in my day, when little girls wore little flowered dresses! And her kitty, such dear, dear love goes into each piece. YAHOOOO!!!!!!!!
Marie is darling, Penny. She looks so real. There's just something about her eyes and smile that speak to me. Her kitty is cute also. It's so fun to see the projects you're working on, and again when they're completed. You're so talented. I love this one. : )
Sheri, I was pleased with the way her eyes came out. I had reworked her little smile many times trying to get it right. I think her little nose was the most challenging. Thanks so much!

Penny, the Mickey coffee they sell at Disneyland, and the girls brought it home to their brother. They just recently went there. It's pretty good, but Starbucks is still my fav. Yes, I usually only have a cup of coffee in the morning, like you, and maybe one in the afternoon. They both love So Cal, Penny, and I'm wondering if they are going to settle that way again.
Well, duh! I should have know that. Even though I am only about 45 minutes from Disneyland, it has been years since I have visited. Thank you for the info.

I missed this one! You are so good with human faces, is it flesh colored wool? The kitty adds a touch of extra sweetness, wonderful job Penny!
ReplyDeleteHi Jeri,
DeleteThanks so much! No, it's not flesh colored, I used the natural suffolk wool, then blushed.
