Please meet Daisy Needle felted skunk

Hello everyone.  Please let me introduce you to Daisy.  She has been needle felted in wool, over a wire armature.  On this particular piece I have hand sculpted her little feet with polymer clay.
She has black glass bead eyes.  I have included a few photos of her WIP.

Daisy stands 5 1/2" tall and is 11" in length to the tip of her tail.  I hope she gives you a smile.
Now available on ebay.
Wishing you all a beautiful weekend.
blessings,
Penny

    1. Dear Carolyn,
I try to get as close to realism as I can, but the end results are usually a little whimsical. So thank you!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend too.

  3. Daisy is sweet, Penny. She looks very real, and your neighbors might start to wonder as she sits outside on your railing hehehe. Her little feet of clay are cute. I just love her!

    1. Thank you Sheri! Trust me, my neighbors are always on the lookout for those little dickens. I had one sitting right outside my back door last year. I was just ready to open the door when I looked down and there he was looking up at me. Needless to say I did not open the door.

It was sunny today in my little part of the world also.

That little STINKER! She has made me laugh so hard I'm choking over here! teeeeehheeeeeeee

Her feet are absolutely perfect. Her face is exactly correct (for I have seen skunks close up!) and you are genius. Oh Penny, Daisy is a great reminder that the warmer months of garden frolick await us!!!!!!!!!! She is precious. AND......your sound effects of the birds and the stream...the image of the creek and bridge looks exactly like Minnehaha Creek here! How I dream of spring, how I dream of one day sitting with you at the banks...

    LOVE DAISY!
