Oh, how pretty, Penny.....she is lovely! Anyone in particular? Your mum, an auntie? She is stunning in her soft features!!!!! How does it feel to pick up the pencils again? I haven't done so in literally years now. And Tea Rat lets me know, too!!!!!!
BRAVO DEAR FRIEND! And, thank you for visiting my blog and Vicki's. Wasn't that fun?
It's very beautiful, and very well done! I love pencil too-it's fun to get the different shades-so much softer than pen and ink, though I like that too.... You've done a beautiful portrait!
She is very beautiful and love how thoughtful and expressive her face is. You must have been happy picking up the pencils again. Hope you are having a lovely week hugs Carolyn
This is beautiful, Penny. I am mesmerized by your pencil sketches, and I've never told you how much of a beautiful art I think this is. My son drew a few sketches years ago, and I still have them tucked away. You are very talented, and your sketches always make me think of the story behind the person.
love, ~Sheri
(I love the song that's playing also, it's a favorite of mine).
Oh Penny...I am so sorry for not visiting your blog more often... I have had serious blog neglect for quite awhile. I just love your pencil drawing...it seems like all of your drawings remind me of my mother. This one is wearing her hair the same my mother used to wear hers... I just love all of them. I hope you are well. Take care my sweet friend!! XOXO Dessa Rae
I love the serene, 1940's look of your ladies. Like Dessa, I am reminded of my mother and the music just adds to the memory. Mom played this record constantly. So lovely Penny. Don't you just love using your pencils?! Me too.
It is a beautiful portrait sketch Penny. So gentle, and sweet, just like you. See, You shine through in everything you touch, what a wonderful world! Thank you so much for stopping in to see my silver light fairy. I am always happy to know you have been there. Much Love, Christel
