I wanted to share something I have been working on.. Just finished.. The chick is needle felted and stands 2 1/2" tall.. Her little feet are wrapped wire and she has glass bead eyes.
The egg..... Formed and sculpted with mixed media... I have covered the inside of the egg with dried rose petals from my garden that have been sealed and lightly dusted with glitter. The stand was handmade with wire and yarn.. I hope you enjoy viewing... It was listed on ebay this evening.
Have a great day tomorrow..
We are having a mild winter here, Penny. A few degrees plus - no minus. So all feels a bit strange. I grew up in southern Germany, where the snow sometimes was lying half as high, as I am. This was normal. An fun. And coooohohold. But now, here in northern Germany, the climate has changed definetly. Somehow frightening, somehow really wonderful, as I hate to feel cold and to have to turn the heater on.
ReplyDeleteSo you are already in the easter mood, I can see, with so much love to your sweet creation.
Still abit "nesty", but definetly awoken from hibernation, as this young chicky here wants to start a new life :))
Huggies... from Méa
