Everyone hold your
heads high
Fix that tutu
Very good
nice and straight
All together now..
I hope you enjoyed the ballet... I had such fun when each one came alive from the wool.. All the members of this dance troup were needle felted in the finest natural wool.. (Thank you again dear Dore) Their tutu's are merino wool in rainbow colours. Each one has a pink satin corded tail.. I inserted a wire inside the cord for stability. The Ballerinas in peach, green and pink are available on ebay at this time.
The other 2 dancers are in my Etsy shop..
Thank you so much for your visit..
Wishing you all a beautiful weekend.
Love and blessings,
Penny
OH.MY. GOODNESS!!!!! ANITA, WHERE ARE YOU??? (Sleeping soundly, I'm sure...hee)
ReplyDeleteDEAREST PENNY!!! I just stopped by to say hello, and was welcomed with not only some of my favorite music, but this MAGIC you have created!!
You are AMAZING! I am giggling and smiling, and what a most delightful way to usher in sweet slumber...with sugarplum fairy mice dancing in my head...you are an angel, Penny!!
Can't wait till our dear friend sees this brilliant performance...
Thank you, beautiful Penny!!!

- Irina
I AM HERE IRINA! And yes, I was sound asleep on the couch and had to come to see if the ballet dancers were ready; I had heard there were rehearsals and that MISS PENNY'S DANCE STUDIO was the hottest place in town!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO I AM LOVING THIS, PENNY!!!! Like dearets Irina, I am smiling and chuckling from ear to ear because magic has been made over there chez Penny! What can I say but that I wish I could get the WHOLE LOT OF MICE! Tea Rat is beside himself and is yanking on my pyjama leg, begging me to invite every single pretty mouse to come live with us.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, you never quit Penny, NEVER! OK, via email now....this is too cute for any words. LOVE LOVE LOVE! teeheee...Miss Penny, you are the strictest ballet teacher I have ever had, but look at the form on those mice!

I HAD TO COME BY AGAIN and I am just going to do it.....I am going to steal (teehee) a photo and put it on my sidebar under Momma G. I have to. This is too brilliant!! LOVE ! Anita
ReplyDeleteOh Penny, this little post could be a sweet book!!!! Must I say that Tea Rat is drooling? Don't let him into the theatre or else he will pull that same stunt he did for Miss Moussie's Travelin' Show....remember how Bebe had to gently push him off stage, for he had kicked off his boot and ran down and took over the microphone? teehee....well, if he saw this bevy of beautiful ballerinas, he would get on that stage IN A TUTU!
LOVE YOU!
Owww they are so lovely !!..love the pink one !!...love Ria...xxx..

Oh my gosh, just look at that Corps de Ballet! Those lovely tutus and the pointed toes. How absolutely adorably, Miss Penny!
ReplyDeleteOh my, what a nice little moment in time. As I was scrolling down, I kept thinking, she keeps changing her tutu and I never knew a ballet was going on. I enjoyed the show! You never disappoint, you are full of warm and fuzzy moments that make the heart very glad indeed.
ReplyDeleteHow in the world do you ever kiss them goodbye?
Oh Penny ¡qué dulzura!!, es siempre un placer visitarte y un auténtico deleite ver tus creaciones, me encantan, como siempre maravillosas.
ReplyDeleteOh Penny,
ReplyDeleteThese are just darling. And they look so real! However do you make them stand like that? The colors on each tutu are very pretty, but purple is my favorite color, so I love that one. You are truly an artist, and I love coming over here to see what you have created next.
