Where's Mary?
Are you over there?
Or maybe here?
I have my bell on so you can here me
I will rest a moment
The sun is going down Mary, where are you?
There you are!
Stay right beside me, I will show you the way home.
With Love
This little lamb has been lovingly needle felted with the finest wool.. She has a dark undercoat. It gives her a bit of a vintage look I think.. She was created over a wire armature so you may gently pose her.. She measures 4 inches tall and is 5 1/2" in length. The painting of the little girl is an oil painting of mine of my niece when she was very young.
Where's Mary is available on Ebay.
I hope you enjoyed your visit.
Blessings,
Penny
Your little lamb is just adorable! You have such talent and I enjoy coming here to visit. Always love seeing your darling four leggeds pictures in your sidebar too.
ReplyDeletePenny, this is a masterpiece, from the music, to the sequencing of each sentence...WHERE'S MARY is truly a gentle gift to me tonight, as I sit here and savor the sweetness of the sentiments of your heart, the work of your hands and the genuine friendship we share....this is unbelievably beautiful...I have to come to you via email.
ReplyDeleteMy God, you are just an angel....
And it was a sweet moment to hear your voice dear angel......thank you again for your support and for this most MOVING post that will always remain a huge part of this very day that I will never forget. I was touched by an angel....Anita
ReplyDeleteOne more look before I start my day....
ReplyDeleteOh, Penny, I'm absolutely in love with Mary's little lamb, so much so that I am in tears, if you can believe me. Can't explain it, but I know it is ministering to me in the secret places of my heart. Thank you for listening. I think a good ear, even more so than a good eye, is the mark of true art.
ReplyDeleteHeaded for that auction to take a peek.
Thank you for stopping by the shop.
Hugs,
Marcia
I love Mary...she is so sweet lamb !!....happy weekend...love Ria...xxx..
ReplyDeleteIn response to your visit, it's the heart behind the words, Penny. We are an instrument in the hands of a Master Artist, and the more genuine--or broken and yielded--the instrument, the more light is able to do what only light can do...illuminate. ;) Thank you again, love.
ReplyDeleteHugs.
Enjoyed the suspence of this. Cute as ever.
ReplyDeleteHi Penny, the lamb and the story are so cute. Love your work.

Dear penny, it was such a joy to see you had been to visit me tonight, and thank you for your prayers, and comments. Little Mary is such a tender, and gentle looking baby lamb, perfect! the painting is beautiful too. Always a treat to see what comes from your hands my friend. On the blogger subject..I think many people are not seeing my posts..I fear I will have to start a new blog, and lose my followers because of it..I have triend going back to the old format, tried messaging blogger about it ect..nothing has worked I have tried, but it upsets me too..I want my followers to see what I am doing! I may just simply have to message each and every one, and give them a new blog address.we'll see! xoxo Christel
ReplyDeleteHappy Saturday Bebe, and Penny and Jasper and Zoe! Jackie is here with Gretta and Pippit! We have all stopped by for a warm autumn hug!
ReplyDeleteWe have had a terrible time trying to post on Nowhere. My blog pal Shelley is trying to fix my comments but she is as baffled as I am. Spam box is not all that bad but we want to climb out of it!
Len is away for the weekend and I have a weekend to myself, glory bee! I need it. Time to just take TIME and make it my own.
I was thinking of you this week and I have my painting of Misha out in my living room as we just passed by her one year escape to heaven where all is calm and so bright.
Love to you my friend!
Awww...such a sweet little lamb. So glad he found Mary : )
ReplyDeletePenny you create soulful creatures of God.
ReplyDeleteBlessed you are with the hands that create :)
I had a little white lamb for my daughter when she was born she cuddled with it keeping her comforted and safely sleeping. I am sad to see this post in a good way, Its making me want to hunt for her lamb, I am not sure what happened to it. We have every piece of old yet not sure what happened to her lamb. Well you now know I will be on the hunt to find her lamb, for this post tugged at my heart, remembering when.
Penny write to me by way of email.
I have a little something for you...send me your mailing address :)
xoxo
