In the meantime, I thought I would share this trompe l'oeil I painted in the entryway years ago. It is quite large, 5x7 feet.. Makes a nice backdrop for family photos when my children are visiting.. I hope you enjoy... See you soon.
Love and blessings,
Penny
Dear Penny,
ReplyDeleteHow lovely that you are giving your kitchen a makeover - hard work isn't it painting and sanding. Good luck with your work and look forward to seeing the new look. I love the Trompe l'oeil in your entryway.
I am doing the same here -painted around the door frame and it is nice to stop and have a break.
Have a great week
Hugs
Carolyn
That is beautiful, dear Penny! Love the warm colors...it looks like it's in a Tuscany villa!
ReplyDeleteAnd you are working on your kitchen?? That is not an easy job, but the end result will be satisfying and gorgeous, I know. :)
Do take care of yourself, sweet friend!
Big hugs,
- Irina

ReplyDeleteHi Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteYes, it is more work than I had anticipated. Feeling a little worn out today so it is going a bit slower.. You are working away also? Yes, nice to take a break..
Thank you for your comment on my painting..
Wishing you a wonderful week.
fondly,
Penny

Hi Penny,
ReplyDeleteOh too bad Bebe can't help with those cabinets. I am sure the end result will be amazing...the process sounds hard...I can see why you'd rather paint on canvas though...you are so creative. Love this painting you did.
Heidi
Good evening Heidi
ReplyDeleteYes, too bad because she could scurry around the inside with a tiny paint brush! That in itself would be a big help..
Thank you for your visit and most kind words.
fondly,
Penny
Oh my! What a lovely image. I can see it would be perfect for photo shots. Makes me want warm bread and a bowl of olives, some brie de meaux and a glass of wine. Maybe if I help painting the kitchen?
ReplyDeleteUn fantastico trabajo, me encanta!!!
