Please meet Tweety bird and baby chick

This is Tweety bird... Dear Anita, of Castles Crowns and Cottages, purchased her.. Please stop in and say hello to Anita and bask in the beauty you will find there... Thank you so much my dear friend! If the wind is strong she should arrive by tomorrow...
Below tweety is my newest little chick, now available on Ebay.
I am so thrilled with new wool that has arrived.. Hand dyed merino and Falkland wool, the most beautiful colors, so I am in bird heaven here.. I intend to make birdies in all the colors of the rainbow, and I am also working on a GOOSE... Well, lets say I am trying my hand at making a goose... we shall see. I am using the wool received from dear Jeri, courtesy of Beatrix the sheep.. This is also the wool I created baby chick with (photos below tweety bluebird) It is, without a doubt, the nicest wool to work with... Please stop in at Hopalong Hollow and see the PICKETS that Jeri has made... This woman baffles the mind... I often wonder if there is anything she ~cannot ~do... I think not...
Wishing you all a beautiful weekend...
Love and blessings,
Penny

You have such a wonderful way of adding that little bit of personality into every single one of your creations. You truly bring them to life dear one.

Your little chick is just precious as well. Love her little hat. Does she say "Country" or what? Just priceless.

  7. Anita said she had gotten a little blue bird and I had to come and see it. Of course,it is perfect... tweet, chirp, peep! Of course the little chick is also a darling. I am sitting in my hotel room and about to head out the door to attend the show, but I had to visit here first and say hello. (Looking forward to my little llama!)

  10. MY DEAR DEAR PENNY!

I know you would sing a birthday song to me in a heartbeat....just YOU and ME....we are like Lucy and Ethel...Me having the WORST VOICE, LIKE LUCY used to portray.....I tell ya, they used to tell me to NOT sing in school! My daddy covered his ears when he would attempt to play the piano and I would try to sing, but he sat on his bench while playing Chopin, beaming with PATERNAL PRIDE as he watched me dance to his Clair de Lune.....

THANK YOU AGAIN for sending me this fabulous little blue bird of happiness....she is so precious.

BUT, like Lucy and Ethel, NOTHING STOPS US !!!! Oh how I adore you my friend and THAT LAST PHOTO OF LITTLE CHICKIE without her hat is JUST ADORABLE, with her little round head....precious.
