Please meet Honey bear

This little fellow has been lovingly needle felted with merino wool.. Oh yes, his honey pot also.. Although I would still consider him to be a miniature bear, he is much larger than my previous little bears.. He 5 1/4" in his seated position.. Total height is 8 inches.. I hope you enjoyed meeting Honey Bear.

I love my pot of honey

I filled it up with glee

If you wander past me

I will share with thee.

The bees were oh so kind

Take all you need they said

I will give myself a treat

Before I go to bed.

Love,

Honey bear

  1. Ooooooooo I am so delighted to see you Honey Bear! Can I have a slather of your yummy honey on a piece of toast with my tea? I am partial to going AU NATURAL TOO....it is conducive to this infernal heat of summer! Let's have a spot of tea and eat all the honey we can...TEA RAT

OH PENNY...did you have fun my friend? Did this little ursus major give you joy as your needle danced about to produce this magical little fellow? Oh much joy you bring us, and Honey Bear is as much of a poet as little Bebe.....who I suspect is retired for the summer. What fun, what love and such kindness here. What would I do without you, Penny?

THANK YOU FOR YOUR KIND WORDS MY FRIEND...I dedicate it to you and the other dear friends who help each other to know they CAN create....you are the best my dear. Love to you, Anita

  13. HONEY BEAR!

I just had to come by for a jar of honey my dear bear....any chance a rat could buy a few jars to fill his larder for the impending cold weather coming soon? Tea will be consumed in MASS QUANTITIES!

Just had to see you today dearest...Anita

  15. You are becoming a needle felter extraordinaire! I love little blond honey bear, he must be kin to Winnie the Pooh.
I traded a book this weekend for a HUGE jar of Clover honey from a beekeeper. It is delish!
In response to your comment about my lovely Jemimas eyes... yes, they are lined with charcoal eyeliner and a taupe eyeshadow and are the most liquid brown chocolate you ever did see! And HUGE! She could just melt your heart. AND her hair feels just like a plush toy!
